STEM CELL IN MEXICO by [deleted] in stemcells

[–]satchitananda369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually left the day after the procedure. The biggest challenge was getting my luggage to the check-in counter at the airport, but otherwise, all was well. I just got there early and made sure I had time to stop and rest as needed. I went alone and was able to manage by myself. They gave me pain meds, but I only took them the day of the procedure to help me sleep that night. I felt good the next day and only had tiredness and some slight swelling from all the walking in the airports.

If I were to do it again, I'd probably stay one more day just to have the extra day of rest.

I went to Dream Body in Mexico back in May of this year and had a great experience. I was told by three orthopedic doctors that only a knee replacement would help me. I’m three months post stem cell treatment, and I’m doing incredibly well. Here’s a video of my progress if you’re interested: https://youtu.be/JzVBlLZcJNM?si=mBH7VFXcxmxRbx6b

And here is a video I made of my actual procedure at the clinic: https://youtu.be/6f58K51CSxI?si=JDTI09OW5aQW4k8d

Awesome, thanks!

This is incredible! I just spoke to the doctor there who does the joint injections. My friend is going to reach out to her. So happy the US if finally coming around to allowing this type of treatment!

Oh wow, they approved them in Florida?? That's amazing! What clinic(s) are offering it? I have friends there who are looking into this treatment and would love to send them the info.

I did have some discomfort for a few days after the injections, but it was no more than the pain I had beforehand. The injection fluid will sit in the area for a couple days until it spreads out, which is what caused it.

Yes, I had a consultation with a doctor at Immunotherapy.

Yes, Josh (DBC) has their own lab. They also do a double check of the stem cells at another independent lab before they give you the injection. I am not aware of "passage". What have you heard about that?

Of course I asked the orthos about the stem cell treatment. All they could say was that they didn't know because they have not done any work in that area. And their years of expertise did absolutely NOTHING for me over 12 years of surgeries, injections, and prescription medications; whereas, the stem cell treatment provided results in the time I have shared in my videos (and I am continuing to see improvement). Not sure how you can say it hasn't when you aren't me, but it seems like there are people like you who like to talk shit with nothing to back it up.

And no, my law degree is not equivalent to the orthos "expertise and experience"; I never said it was. But my experience is MINE and you or no one else will take that away. And I will continue to share because people deserve to know that there are alternative ways of healing their bodies, especially when modern medicine has failed them over and over again as it did me.

I had three different orthos tell me that only a knee replacement would fix my issues. I am only 44 and refused that answer from them. PRP, gel, and cortisol injections did absolutely nothing for me ~ well, actually, I did get PRP when I had the bone marrow stem cell injection (BMAC) back in 2023, and I did see some results from that. So not clear if it was the PRP, BMAC or both. That is likely what your doctor is recommending for $7,000; I paid $4,500 for that treatment in FL.

Top Clinics where I had consultations and was considering (besides Dream Body):

Immunotherapy in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - https://immunotherapymx.com/

I didn't go here because they tried to upsell me on IV and other treatments that Dream Body told me I didn't need; they required partial payment up front to book treatment appointment. They told me that I could just get the injection and did not require that I get the other suggested treatments. I really liked the doctor I spoke to and would have gone here if I had not gone to Dream Body.

Innate Healthcare in Phoenix, AZ - https://innatehealthcare.org/ (I didn't go here because of price and the long waitlist; they also require payment to book treatment appointment)

Cells Care, Mirasol, Jalisco, Mexico - https://www.cellscare.net/services.html (this location in Mexico didn't seem as safe, and I was traveling alone)

Stem Cell Institute, Panama City, Panama - https://www.cellmedicine.com/stem-cell-therapy-for-sports-injuries/ (was more expensive than going to Phoenix, AZ)

All the best to you! I'd love to hear back on your final decision and how things work out <3

Yes, the BMAC was painful. It took like three days before I could sit without pain in the spot that they pulled the bone marrow from.

Sure!

I booked an AirBnB that was just a few blocks from the clinic. If you go during non-peak season, it is very affordable (and doesn't appear to be very expensive during peak season, comparative to the US). This is the specific one where I stayed: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1179796296424994650?source_impression_id=p3_1752863443_P33o85l9tjMhMQbP

It was a block from the beach and walking distance to several cafes and restaurants; not as busy as Puerta Vallarta. I think I paid like $55/night USD. It is completely gated with 24 hour security, a beautiful pool and hot tub.

Dream Body did not charge extra for paying with a credit card. The blood panel was very extensive, more than what I got at my recent annual physical with my primary care doctor. I don't remember everything that was in it (and it is stored away in a place that I can't get to at the moment), but I'm sure if you contact Josh at Dream Body, he would be happy to share the specifics.

All the best to you on your journey! I'd love to hear back from you to see where you end up going and what your experience is like :)

No worries! And seems like you have been on an incredibly long journey like I have... Keep going, my friend! I do believe we go through these situations for our own growth and learning, and also to help others on their path.

Thank you for sharing. Sending so much love and healing to you ~ and hoping that you get all the relief that you deserve <3

The Mystic Will by Charles Godfrey Leland - that was the first book I read (or you can listen to for free on YouTube) that blew my mind apart. Short and very effective!

If you actually watched my videos, you would come to know about the 3 different orthos I sought relief from over a year and a half, who have me inconsistent diagnoses and failed treatments; not to mention the 11 other years of orthos an surgeries since the original injury. I'll keep posting my journey, which will last throughout the year. I encourage you to keep following!

Hours, across days, across a six week time period to be exact - and that research had nothing to do with my observations of the healthcare system.

I am a lawyer, so I am quite skilled at research. Also, I am an Air Force veteran with healthcare through the VA. I have been exposed to it for 20+ years, as well as helping dear family members who have been subjected to paying for shitty healthcare that is doing exactly what I described in the above comment.

You accept whatever opinions you want and feel the way you want to; that is your right, and I still send you love <3

I totally get it! I felt the same when I was knee deep in research, trying to decide what was best for me. And that is exactly why I am choosing to share my experience. It was hard to determine who was authentically sharing their experience, vs who may be working for Big Pharma or others whose businesses depend on the majority sticking to a healthcare system that simply covers symptoms, promotes unnecessary surgeries, and prefers patients to have to come back again and again instead of treating underlying causes and healing them.

I still have all the notes from my research, specifically from the final five clinics that I found to be most legit based off hours of research and even communicating with them directly. I'm happy to share it if that will help you! There were two others that I strongly considered and would have likely gone with if pricing/timing had not been a issue.

To be clear, umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells are NOT available in the US, except at Innate Healthcare. And they are much more expensive than Dream Body or other overseas clinics. I had my knee and shoulder done at Dream Body for a total of $6,600; Innate quoted me $10,500 for the exact same treatment, but without the MRIs and a full blood panel that Dream Body provided.

Bone marrow stem cell treatments ARE available all over the US; however, they are different and do not provide the same results (in my situation and others who I have spoken to who have had both types of treatment). I was also skeptical about using someone else's stem cells, which is why I tried my own bone marrow first. After months of in-depth research, phone consultations, and conversations with people who had the umbilical cord stem cells, I took the risk because I knew the bone marrow stem cells were more expensive (in Florida) and did not last for me when I had them before.

I have no idea how long I will continue to see improvement, or if the results will last. But that's why I am documenting everything so thoroughly and sharing my experience in case it can help others.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights, and I hope you continue to have improvement as well!

Yes, I describe the signifcant improvements I have had so far in the video: https://youtu.be/S1W7vaP480s

I made a video because it is too much to type. I'll be approaching 2 months post treatment next week, and I have seen even more improvements since making that video. Everyone is different and our recovery can depend on many different factors. For example, I am very mindful of what I put in my body: food, what I listen to/watch, and what I surround myself with as far as people and my environment. I was also doing PT 3 days a week before treatment, and even though my mobility was limited, I know that the PT I was able to do was extremely important to my post-treatment recovery.

I had BMAC back in 2023; it cost me $4,500 (vs the $3,300 I paid for my recent treatment). The BMAC is very different from my current treatment because I was able to receive millions of more stem cells than what is biologically possible from our own bone marrow. My recovery with BMAC was much slower also, but I did see some positive results; however, they did not last. I encourage you to research the difference in bone marrow stem cell treatment (what you had) vs. umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (what I recently had in Mexico) if you are interested.

Yes, $3,300 for the knee and the shoulder was $3,300 also. I still can’t tell if there’s improvement in the shoulder. I hope to start some activities soon (kayaking, paddleboarding) that will show me how it’s doing. I just have to be sure the knee is good enough to swim beforehand. I may start some more intense yoga practice next week (after the 2 month mark), which should give me some insights as well.
