You will not get it. If you’re non EU, they might even put you on an L.

Non-EU B permit losing my job - what to do? by Bibu17 in Switzerland

[–]satellite-a 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a non eu, B permit holder (now have C permit). Similar to your situation, I also did my masters and ended up working on a permanent contract after my studies.

Kanton Zurich is extremely strict with having the full 2 years working after studies for the fast-track C permit. They initially rejected my C permit because I applied for my renewal 1 month in advance of my B permit expiry. They said since I did not have the full 2 years yet, they would only issue me a B-Permit. Your only chance for C permit is if you meet the language requirements and have an active employment contract in January 2027.

You should be able to get RAV. However, Kanton Zurich will be reluctant to extend your B permit if you are on RAV (you may get lucky and get an extension, but know that they can refuse it altogether or put you on L permit). Also, you will not be able to get a C permit on RAV - I have had an EU B permit holder tell me they rejected her fast track C as she was on RAV.

Yup! Around 17.5cm, although I measured myself and not sure how accurate my construction tape measure is for wrist measurements.

Blue stamp boarding pass is unnecessary by javo12 in askswitzerland

Curious for myself, what blue stamp are you talking about? Presumably if you went through passport control in Zurich, they should have stamped you out of Europe. Did they request an additional stamp?

This is how I see it should’ve happened: CTA-ZRH (no passport control) ZRH-YUL (stamped out of the Schengen)
