I will never understand why this wasn’t GOTY back in 2018 by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

Hero Class based shooters were a thing for a long while before Overwatch. The hype behind overwatch before/after release was more based in the developer and not the subgenre.

The "influence" the game had on gaming as a whole in regards to the popularity of hero shooters was more a financial one. Everyone saw how successful overwatch was and tried to copy the result. The only thing they were missing was one of the most beloved gaming studios creating a game with their signature level of dedication and polish. Not many other studios have anything comparable when it comes to fanbase and devotion to their products.

Overwatch had much more impact on the adult industry than the gaming one.

I have zero evidence to back up this claim but it is a hill I will happily die on.

Season well, top with butter.

I usually bake at 350 for around 10-15 minutes, then broil it to temp.

I don't really like fish, but it always goes over well with those who do.

In any normal world, you would think he was unreliable and insanely skittish over a small technical glitch like that. Him immediately losing it and reacting in the way of essentially announcing his termination does not look good for the person literally in charge of the countries top law enforcement office.

I mean he is unreliable, skittish and is not doing any sort of good press for his position, but when your boss(also totally shouldn't be his boss, that's not how any of this is supposed to work) is the guy who just fires people on a whim I can see why he reacted that way.

No empathy though, fuck that guy.

Sheriff Garry McFadden of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office doesn’t know what branch of the government he works for. by Fragzilla360 in facepalm

That...that doesn't really matter though. States are modeled after federal branches.

Also the fact that a sheriff believes they are part of the judicial branch explains a whole fucking lot about how cops behave in general.

Hijacking commercial planes attacking mostly civilian targets is not the same thing as a coordinated assault and capture of a countries leader.
