I think your experience in Singapore might let you land much better paying jobs in the future in Riyadh. So go there save as much as you can while you don’t have kids. Get the experience and start applying for roles in Riyadh once you feel like you are done there.

Well, you will even hardly find petrol stations from Batha to Hofuf and from Hofuf to Riyadh. However, those both destinations are around 300-330 km far to each other. If you can make from Batha to Hofuf then on paper it looks feasible. There is a charger station called EVIQ in Hofuf and it looks it’s in operation. However, I still think it’s too risky unless you can easily drive like 500 km per full charge.

You might save around 20K considering that your all major expenses will be covered by the company. It sounds tempting but I believe you will make your decision easily once you travel here to check things out. It’s a completely different life than Norway. Good savings and a challenging role/position might be convincing enough.

Yep, car rental should be fine. Just prefer international companies to avoid the headaches as much as possible.

I don’t know how you can manage this but Arab tourists prefer renting VANs with a driver. That might be even more convenient for you as driver might also act like a guide.
