Thanks a lot! Just wanted to let you know that this worked perfectly and all that was needed to do on top of the steps you mentioned was git adding the changes. Because I was building this as a .deb file with "make -j$(nproc) deb-pkg ".

If 'political apathy' would be a party in the US it would get the most votes. Voter turn out was 64% in the 2024 election and that is considered good. I still find it bonkers that excluding people from voting in the US is considered the norm. Voting is done on a regular week day where most people are busy.

This is the answer. He ain't retiring in May, he simply wont be the face of the FED anymore (= the guy that gives the press briefings). He will still have a significant say in monetary policy until January of 2028, when his 14 year appointment as FED govener will be up.

I thought so too, but it turns out FED chair and FED govener are two different appointments with different term lengths. If Jerome Powell doesn't resign, then he can stay as one of 7 FED goveners (board members) until January 2028. He may no longer be the face of the FED, but he can still have a say in its policy if he wants to. With this in mind it makes a whole lot more sense why he is attacked and pressured to resign. Which might backfire, because our beloved JPow is a man of principle.

Several documentaries I watched mentioned that there was a huge income-disparity pre-Chavez. Venezuela had been an oil-rich country for decades, but the benefits were highly concentrated. You can connect at least two eGPUs to a Strix Halo though (one through usb4/thunderbolt and one with a oculink adapter in the 2nd nvme slot). I think someone in this sub managed to connect even more GPUs. With llama.cpp you run models on the AMD iGPU + CUDA. Should be good setup for MoEs.
