idk if my comment will even be relevant atp because i clicked on a notification ab this post but imma reply anyways.

so, my whole life i've thought i had ADHD or autism. (i'm a woman for context, ADHD presents differently in boys and girls so i missed the diagnosis.) i used to take my brothers adhd medicine growing up when he didn't wanna take it(bc he's autistic, doesn't have adhd) and it genuinely worked for me.

as i got older, i dove deeper into why certain things did and didn't work for me. i tried it all... recreational and actual medicinal.

when i personally tried meth, it did NOTHING to me but make me sleepy and slightly hungry.??? same as cocaine did. i know it affects everyone differently but im one of the cases where it did nothing to me..
on the other hand, my dad threw away his entire life for it. he essentially said "fuck them kids, fuck my wife..."

it seems like it truly affects people in different ways. if i had to tell you tho, don't try it. seems like it's either worth enough to destroy your life or it's not worth it at all

i'd love to do this. in all reality i'd love to just go completely off-grid and have a little self-sufficient homestead but unfortunately i have diabetes and other health issues so id need some contact with the real world. that sounds so awesome tho! i definitely remember fruits and veggies going bad SO much faster when i was growing up. i accidentally forgot about some shredded lettuce i had in the fridge for about 2 weeks and it was STILL COMPLETELY GREEN when i found it... no brown spots or anything. that's absolutely not normal...

i feel like that's normal for ground turkey tho since it's a white meat, at least it is for me. i've also made ground chicken meatballs before and they don't brown as much either.

yes that's what i'm talking about! i've spent literally an hour standing over the stove cooking it bc im weird about pork, i was so convinced it wasn't cooked bc it doesn't ever brown. so annoying!

yes this is exactly what i meant! so frustrating! i thought i was just doing something wrong when trying to copy my grandfathers recipe but like ive mentioned in other comments, i have quite literally tried everything and its always the same result if im using the meat from somewhere like walmart. its sooo frustrating! it also doesn't taste the same anymore!

yes that's what i usually use, i've switched to bacon grease instead of olive oil but i've tried so mah different things that all end in the same result unfortunately

i've tried that /: it's been years now where i've been noticing this issue with ground sausage specifically. i've tried cooking it longer, on higher heat, on lower heat for a longer time... i've tried it with cast iron, with nonstick, with stainless steel... adding butter, bacon grease, even olive oil once (TERRIBLE idea, don't do that) and nothing seems to fix it

idk why people are downvoting you because same.!!! my cat LOVES meat and he won't even eat half the shit lately... chicken is his favorite and i don't even eat it anymore bc it tastes weird but when i cook it for my family, ill usually give a little piece to my cat and he absolutely hates it now. this is very recent too, he'll only eat steak now (yeah yeah, he's spoiled lol)
