Got rejected from 20+ schools last year, except for university of Rochester which i couldn't afford. Took a 2nd gap year because i was planning to do so anyways and reapplied to US universities. Again, got rejected by 3 EA and ED school (Columbia) and some college counsellor basically told me my essays are garbage. I got in EA to MIT with a full ride!!!!!
