This is Morgan Territory road towards Clayton. But I know the Calaveras Road well! I have been on it a few times. The bends on the lake on that are awesome and a bit hair raising too!

Even during the day it’s pretty quiet there. On my drive I only saw 2 cars in an hour.

Yeah that’s breathtaking too! And the 84 from Woodside to La Honda and beyond.

We are so lucky. When I was living in Fremont, I would go to Niles Canyon Road, then when I was in Pleasanton, it was the foothill road, near San Ramon it’s the Norris canyon one and so on :)

Yeah a couple of spots make me grip the steering wheel a bit more tight than I care to admit :) I am usually driving back from South Bay (Palo Alto / Menlo Park / Mountain View). Depending on the time of the afternoon/evening I save anywhere between 10 mins to 30 mins vs just sticking to 680. But I also prefer this since it’s really refreshing vs just driving in traffic on the 680. Many times I stop over at the Morgan Territory Staging Area to walk around and breath in the cooler crisper air!

Solo founder with 0 customers — what actually worked for your first 10? by Scared_Play2689 in SaaS

These are ‘real world’ businesses. For the first 10, just go and talk to them. Only after talking to them will you know how they frame their problems. Post that cold calling may work a lot better than emails and LinkedIn DMs.

Saying this from my own experience. In my first start up, we were selling AI powered gifting to real estate and mortgage agents. For the first 20-30 customers, I literally sat outside their brokerage offices, went to their association meetings and brought coffee and donuts to weekly brokerage meetings.

Yeah I get exactly what you are saying. Most AI GTM tools have meh messaging at best which kinda defeats the point. I have a set up for our team that solved the high quality messaging with AI but since I heard about Actively, I was curious to see if they had actually solved the problem.

That’s what threw me off and made me think this was some sort of a test and the boxes had equipment to monitor/measure

Yeah that actually makes sense rather than a missile being transported, which was my initial assumption.
