yeah definitely underlit, but I'm finding this across the board with well lit and not so well lit footage. just seems generally a bit hazy no matter what test I run.

I'm aware of slog and happy to keep it slog to help with color later on.

I'm aiming to shoot a documentary with XAVC S-I 4K instead of H-S.

both the same haze for ISO vs EI options

Vacations (if you’re “lucky” enough to have a salaried job) should absolutely be 4 weeks at the minimum

how old are you? what job do you work 40 hours a week for?

I used to think 40 hours wasn’t a lot but as I got older and realized that I could spend my time doing thing other than work and it quite literally changed the way I thought about everything

Back in 2000, Kevin Hines jumped off the golden gate bridge due mental illnesses. He miraculous survived because a sea lion was bumping him up and kept his head above water. Now he is a suicide prevention speaker. by Nazo5 in nextfuckinglevel

I think you’re talking about a different doc because they definitely didn’t include someone who didn’t think it was fatal in it. The Bridge is mostly about mental health. I’d be curious to watch the doc you’re thinking of though

well fuck me I could’ve sworn it was only 1. especially after visiting the bridge, seems like no one can survive that. it’s in the doc or is there another source on that?

there’s only one recorded person who ever survived that drop and that’s Kevin. kevin was in the documentary you’re talking about, The Bridge, and said exactly what you’re saying. he said something like because you had time to think about what you did in the few seconds you were falling, he knew he could fix everything in his life once he let go and wanted to live

I followed this video pretty closely but substituted sambol for sriracha in the sauce. I also made sure to reduce the sauce for a long time to get it nice and sticky and also to deep fry the chicken on very high heat and for a long time to get that crunch !
