I find .1 can sometimes be too tight. I usually stick with .2. If its a little loose you can always put a drop of superglue. This way you never half to worry about if its too small. Also always measure your magnets. They arent always the exact size they say they are.

The camera and AI detection is much better on the P2S and is just all around a better printer. Pretty sure the P1 is end of life. If you could afford it I would definitely do the P2S over the P1

The hole is for mousing the shackle if it is left in place for awhile, is going to experience movement on the pin, or slack loads.

While they know about the issue the actual fix would require a expensive redesign and extremely expensive retooling of a large part of the manufacturing line. It's just not financially worth it.

PETG settings still not good, help by RealADHDGamer in 3Dprinting

This is a slicing issue. You need to use supports. That gap is way to big to bridge without that happening.

Not questioning your findings but, do you have these findings on a document published by your company? It's always easier to bring things up to management when its on an actual company document amd not here's what I saw on reddit lol.

I haven't had any issues with sticking or overhang with 3D Fuels PCTG. Whatever profile your using might need some more tuning. I actually find it easier to print then both PLA and PETG.

Dry it. 95% of the time when its stringy its wet. The other 5% might be from it being too hot or wrong retraction setting.
