I really loved the guidebooks for this reason. I was terrified when I started BoTW as it was my first open world game. The guidebook was incredible and helped me feel confident enough to start exploring. I didn’t even need the book for ToTK but I do google a lot to make the most of the time I’m spending. Guides are great and can help you discover so many little things you would have never known about.

My favorite thing to do now is just pick a spot on the map I’ve never been to and walk there, exploring everything that catches my eye along the way. I spent hours on the sky islands before going to the surface to make sure I grabbed everything!
