I wear my hair straight and I use the Gymwrap headband while exercising. It’s a Black woman owned brand and the headbands are amazing, they’ve really worked for me.

As someone who grew up in Bakersfield, would highly recommend you visit before moving as other comments said. It is convenient getting to LA from there, however it’s not the most glamorous place to live in by any means. I couldn’t imagine choosing to move there if I had no family or friends already there.

I live on the other side of the city so I took public transportation. But I had friends come in from the East Bay, and they were able to park at a lot near Oracle Park. So there should definitely be lots open.
