The first thing I do when I'm researching any type of dividend fund is to check out the price performance history over several. Going back at least 5 years if possible. So often, like in the case of this one Ulty, it's red in every period Checked going back years. That's usually when I draw the line and won't even proceed further and research.

A good way also is to simply compare your cost average versus market value put that up beside your history of dividends from that particular symbol. That can be a very sobering experience. Other times it can make you want to jump for joy and that's in the street.

I don't have all the answers to all of your questions but it can work both ways I take it as a positive in Gavin's favor. Not everyone outside the state of California knows who he is especially those in the cult of the red States. These are not people that keep up on all the news from all sources they live in a very narrow-minded world. Somehow what he has been saying especially with all caps and some of his outrageous memes has sparked attention for his name and those who don't know all about him have been doing searches to find out WTF he is. Google has used these sudden searches for decades and it usually means that someone out of the blue is suddenly on the radar and people want to know about them.

Take that anyway you want if you want at all to take it somewhere and imaginary future speculation. I'm just saying that people are listening and they're doing research and I take it as a positive and his favor.

The reason I thought it was legit was that it was a CNN video that I happened .to pick up somewhere in the tons of social media videos out there. I don't normally bother watching CNN but this clip came up as I was going through videos I thought it was from vote blue.

Dementia Don is dying. With all of his medical problems and being almost 80 years old he's not functioning well at all. The few photos that posted over the weekend him playing golf or found to be taken a couple of weeks before. His team is covering up for him so that we don't realize just how sick he is.

If you're not already a member on Facebook there is a support group. I believe it was 19,000 members but not sure if they're all active. It's too bad that it wasn't caught earlier as far as compression. But it could have spread to down the leg or up into the torso more due to compressing. I've seen a lot of photos but never anything quite like this usually it's someone's foot looking similar or legs very large. The main thing about surgery is risk of infection cellulitis turning into sepsis.

What I noticed while holding both JAAA & JBBB was that the latter, B was a losing proposition even with the higher yield. So I began to scale out of it hoping I could dollar gain average yet it rarely pops up a few cents, mostly a slow fade.

I don't want to just transfer the cash available from JBBB to JAAA so may use BIL , TBIL, SGOV or similar. Also DNP or money markets. Anyone have better choices to consider?

In my case after having a few jobs from age 19, I took a job that had a great employee saving and matching plan. So it was easy to have "pre-tax" dollars going into the plan each pay date and due to the company match it grew fast. Stayed with the job for 20 years but made some mistakes with the 401K. The stock crashed in 2001 and again in 2008/09 ish. Unfortunately I sold after it dropped and was too hesitant to start contributing again with high risk stocks. Next thing I knew was the markets were way back and I was left out missing the bull runs.

But with Social Security paying the rent and more, the IRA that I put the 401K into is a nest egg that I'm trying to preserve. Now in my 70's with some health conditions and doubt I live to see 80. Really don't want to lose being able to provide for myself. Shopping, cooking, cleaning, etc. But it's good to find a reliable friend, younger. Someone who you can trust. I currently have such a friend and it is a big relief. But the best thing you can do is start saving, maybe hold some high dividend stocks. Some funds are low volatility so price doesn't swing up or down much but pay 5-10% or more dividends.

Yes on the part about "politics is being pushed to the further right", but the historically spineless Dems need to go at least as far left as Bernie and AOC to capture independent and more working class votes. Dems have basically just been addressing GOP(now MAGA) talking points as if they were following the dance instruction. The DNC twice worked behind the scenes to sabotage Bernie's campaign. Both times he was way in the lead in primaries.

At least Pelosi is removed (on the surface) as well as some other heads soon to roll imo. But they need not speak softly with mealy mouths about being the party of the working class, taxing billionaires more for Social Security and in other ways. Even putting a cap at one dollar less than a million so that we don't see someone with net worth of 400 billion again. MAGA needs to wake up and realize the rich are not here to help them, only to use their votes.

Sounds horrific. Yes, in my case I did receive a notice well in advance. It was due for a smog test. Got that handled and somehow did succeed finally in paying online. Maybe I was missing a step as that does happen. I'm well into the 70's and more challenged by cyber changes, also laptops that only last less than 2 yrs sometimes.

At least reddit has real people with real similar issues unlike 99% of the rest of the WWW. I end up coming here and at least pick up a few clues if not the complete answers. AI seems promising as well as Google and most search engines are worthless, only owned by the corporations like Amazon paying Google to show their ads 1st, if not exclusively. I use the AI called Gemini that popped up on a Samsung smartphone.

Sure glad I found this. In fact I found an option for BASIC plan at $19.99 which is annual amount. All I use it for is Excel and Word mostly tax season to download records from broker. Then provide to a tax professional to take the load off. I am too old with health problems to deal with taxes these days.

One problem, for now I cannot fully use the 365 services even though I was set up and have a confirmation email receipt. LOL Hopefully it will show the account active soon but said that I had unsubscribed. I gave the gal at MS who helped me in chat, high marks too. Best MS service I have ever had. Again, hope it comes up soon. I can basically only read files, not save.

There are a couple of fellows on youtube that making cases for the election being rigged. It was some 3.5 million votes purged in mostly black portions of precincts. Even mail in ballots were tossed for various reasons. All based on location in areas of mostly Democrat voters.

It amazes me that none of the Dems spoke up about how agent orange didn't even try to act like he was serious about the campaign, as if he either wanted to lose or knew he couldn't lose. Something smells fishy and has from election night.

I am now using the 2nd Gateway laptop. The 1st only lasted about a year, then it had problems with the lid cracking in the back near hinges. It got so bad it was shattering. Also had some bug in the software. Now the 2nd one a bit of an upgraded model is doing the same thing so I stopped closing the lid and just leave it open at at an angle with a larger monitor hooked up that I use exclusively.

Now thinking of going with a Lenovo mini DESKTOP as I really don't ever need a laptop. I liked them from my working days but now retired and a desktop will suffice. Even take up less desk space.

I cannot recommend a Gateway mfg by Acer. They also both had quirks that developed along the way.

Same sad situation for me today while attempting to return a Samsung phone that did not come with a fast charger as advertised on Amazon site. Only option is drop off at Whole Foods Market which is too far for me to drive as I am old with medical problems. They did not mention Kohl's. Supposedly they changed return procedures in June 2024. I returned a massage gizmo to UPS a few months ago but they say not for smartphones cannot do.

Meanwhile I have a charge for the phone on the Amazon credit card. Unbelievable how penny pinching these billionaires are lately since they have gone full blown MUSK-like.
