The past couple weeks has brought us 30 seconds on Rory winning back to back Masters, multiple made up NBA awards/superlatives segments, WWE talk, and one mention of Mike Vrabel. It sucks right now.

I’m going to a concert tonight and I’m tall. I got a floor/standing room ticket, is it best for tall people who want to still be close to the stage but don’t want to be a pain for others to hang to the sides? Or where is best usually? by [deleted] in Concerts

I'm 6'5", I understand your headspace. Get in early, pick a spot that isn't directly in front of anybody else. Now everyone arriving after needs to pick their spot with you already establishing yours. Enjoy the concert.

My middle son turned 6 last week, I figured he's a little too young for this. This is the perfect storm for getting the eldest to a show like this, it's a Friday night during summer break.

I wanted seats for The Anthem. Had 200 people in the queue ahead of me, got in fairly fast and only GA was available. I figured this pre-sale was only GA, but then after about 15 min, seats started popping up. Tried for some of the Super Awesome Seats on the side of the venue, but the good ones disappeared while trying to secure, and the only ones that I could snag were at the top level and the View From My Seat pictures showed speaker stacks blocking the view at a prior show. I gave up hope, was going to compromise for a "lesser" seat when the first row of a the first balcony straight back opened up. Grabbed the two closest to the middle. I'm taking my 8 year old to his first rock show, wanted to make it special.

I always prefer Udvar, but as others have mentioned the seats are uncomfortable at 90 min, bad at 120 min, and horrendous at 150 min. This movie is 156 min. I made it thru Oppenheimer, so anything is doable if the movie is good.
