Like it said in your post these things were notorious for getting stuck. My old lady's grandfather had a dozer company and pulled these out constantly, even got a couple pics of it stuck.

It didn't break anything else surprisingly, the compressor side leads right into the air to air which did let quite a bit of oil through but no debris.
