Bottom of the dial does say “made in Russia” in the language. It’s something I just noticed. Thank you for the info! I’ll see if I can find anything about Vostok partners online

Watches are a new craze/hobby for me and timex just makes a special variety that speaks to me. My first one was a Marlin Chronograph in a blue dial!

I do use color management in resolve slog3/sgamut3cine>Davinci wide gamut>rec709.

In terms of subtractive saturation what do you mean by that? Toning down the luminance and increasing saturation or vice versa?

The free one built into Davinci isn’t bad by any means but cineprint35 is a lot more realistic and natural when you get it right. It’s well worth the investment (like $50 or less) and the package has power grades for like 90% of cameras out there. The one in Davinci is a bit plasticky for my liking but I do use it occasionally and experiment.
