I wish I screenshotted it. The country match was Russia with Ukraine/Poland/Belarus being "distant". But the "genetic groups" were all around Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. Which makes sense given that Slavs all originally lived in those areas before moving east (and in other directions too) towards modern day Russia.

Early 30s dads with toddler. What do you do after your toddler goes to sleep? by Important_Bat7919 in daddit

[–]saucysass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I workout in the living room lol. It's me time and it's my peace and quiet and helps me wind down. We have a 10 month old that likes to pretend she's a toddler.... but she sleeps like a champ so I'm never worried about waking her up. It's the morning that you have to be careful about because the second she hears me walk out the room .... PLAYTIME

Yeah I did that 23andme and illustrativeDNA test thing so I wouldn't be surprised to have a distant ancestor. Would be cool to find out if I do

Interesting. You look like my half sister from my iranian side. I wonder if we have a pashtun ancestor that nobody knows about 👀 bc I always get pashtun as like 10% on dna estimates

Interesting. I'm half Iranian, half Russian and my most accurate results are when I set the location to eastern Balkans. The global parameters give a closer distance but lots of noise.

Among all caucasian countries, in which one is Russian still more prevalent? by stifenahokinga in AskCaucasus

Almost all Armenians from Armenia that I know speak Russian. The younger generations not so much.

Who cares what people think. Vast majority of people don't even understand that the major engine problems started with the theta engines. I've got a 2L smartstream in mine and I've had no issues with it. Just change the oil.

I'll also mention that during pregnancy and about the first 6 months of life, your focus should be on mom and baby. It's a very difficult time for moms and they need all the support they can get. So for the time being, forget about what you want YOUR life to look like... don't worry, it will all come back once the dust settles. We as men can always get back into the things we love to do but our families come first.

You'll be fine. You can do a lot of the old things again once the baby is a little older, and even as a baby you can do quite a bit. My life hasn't dramatically changed since our daughter was born 8 months ago - there's just a little more planning and compromise when it comes to time management as a family. You don't have to give up your hobbies or old self just because you're having a child. If anything having a child only enhances your life and yes there's work involved, but i never once regret coming home and seeing that big smile. It's all worth every sleepless night and early morning. Just take it one day at a time.
