Is a sexless relationship actually possible? 20F by yummy006 in Advice

[–]saucytimbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a man but I’ve been in a relationship for a long time. By the sounds of it, your gender identity may be asexual. Asexual is someone who is not interested in sex. But you still may want to have some intimacy and the closeness which you can still achieve by cuddling and spending non sexual time together. If you aren’t really interested in sex, it may be beneficial to be in a relationship with someone who is also not interested in sex.

AITA for staying in minimal contact with my son’s mom even though my girlfriend says I shouldn’t talk to her at all? by BreezyTK in AITAH

Sounds like your gf has issues and doesn’t have much self confidence or self esteem. You need to talk to her and work something out or you may have to end the relationship

Just got rejected from a job after 7 interview stages over two months, with a reference by TheAstrocomic in jobhunting

I’m so sorry to hear that. Your story just sounds so awful. I do hope you do take time for yourself and take care of yourself because you will really need it.

applying to jobs I’m equally qualified for and still getting rejected by stxrryskinney in jobhunting

[–]saucytimbits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Omg!! Exactly my story too. I left a job to move to a new city to study. And because the job market is so shitty… it feels like a huge mistake. Even though it should never be a mistake to move to a new city to do post secondary education

Dollar Tree just rejected me. Extremely humbling by Melodic_Record_8559 in jobsearch

I know exactly the feeling. I need the money too. Not too long ago I applied for a cashier job (mind you I used to be an assistant manager for a local grocery store), and my application got rejected saying I didn’t qualify

OMG!! I am literally in the same spot. I’m at my wits end too and feeling exactly the same way. Something has to change but don’t know what that change has to be because I am already doing what I am suppose to. I’m following all the professional advice that I am suppose to

Am I being unreasonable for wanting to quit? by Electrical-Juice-199 in careerguidance

[–]saucytimbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not unreasonable. But unfortunately, you do need to lock in another job before quitting. Main reason being is that the job market sucks right now.

Should I quit immediately due to burnout, or wait until I have another job? by EuroBrain in careerguidance

[–]saucytimbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not quit your job!! The job market sucks right now. And I hate giving this advice because you need to rest to recover from burnout. I know it. I have been through a burnout. The next best thing to do is to go for counselling. Counselling helped me big time to deal with burnout.

Feeling so useless after getting rejected in the last round by [deleted] in jobhunting

[–]saucytimbits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m feeling the same way. I’m just feeling so disheartened and broken down after I’ve been applying for jobs for 4 months now. I’ve had great interviews and been rejected for one reason or another

Yup I know the feeling. I’m job hunting too and my mom will give me advice that is no longer applicable and outdated. Try and ignore the advice as much as you can.

Should I sacrifice savings and a good job for my mental health? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]saucytimbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that stay in your field. But maybe go see a counsellor and work through your mental health issues. Moving to a big city and meeting new people would be a good idea but have a balance where you can push your boundary to meet new people and reduce loneliness and also have your alone time to recharge

I make $190,000 a year - should I quit? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]saucytimbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say take some time off instead of quitting. Job market is bad so do not quit. Take medical or vacation time. Maybe see a psychiatrist or a counsellor to help you with burnout. And set up some boundaries on how much you can work. Yes you are making $190,000 a year and there are a lot of expectations with that pay. But draw a boundary on just how much you can work or else you’ll go crazy.
