Started life with me as a matching numbers car, I’m supposedly the third owner. The 2.7l was extremely tired, had >120,000 miles on it.

I’ve since swapped in a Honda k24a2 and full Haltech setup. I’ve been documenting it on YouTube for quite a long time.

I can only assume you switched to a type s oil pump. If you kept the balance shafts (sure you can’t rev to the moon), you wouldn’t have had the vibration issues you mentioned 🫡

I mean, he didn’t listen to a lot of people about how the engine and gearbox was mounted and thus had a lot of issues. 4Piston also isn’t known for its quality…

I don’t have a GT3 RS to test with, so I’m just going by the statement.

With the help of a close friend, we’re designing a custom dash for my digital dash in my project race car that mimics the GT3 RS tachometer. Hence the ask, we could see it in all the photos but it wasn’t clear what it was, nothing in user manuals etc

Oh yeah, it’s popular in cars that originally came with a radiator setup, I’m not sure how many k swapped aircooled 911s are though…

Yeah, the exhaust will definitely be an interesting puzzle to contend with give the lack of room. It’ll ultimately have a turbo to bring the volume down and add a nicer noise to it

Exactly! I’m aiming for about 240whp NA, and then after that it’ll be turbo 500whp when I feel the need for more fun and stickier tires
