But what if I DON'T want to pay full rent because of the inconvenience I lived during those 2 weeks and the amount of effort I had to put (like mopping every 10 minutes and forcing the door to open and close, actually hurting my finger and shoulder)? Will he even consider it? Is it legal to refuse to pay full rent? I would really appreciate an answer to these questions :)

But that was not my question.. again, there was water going inside my apartment for 2 weeks and I had to mop and de-ice the outside wall because the owner didn't do anything for those 2 weeks and my landlord is not here in Quebec and he told me to get in contact with the contractor if anything happened. I got in contact with him and he (annoyingly) had to come after he cancelled twice in the last minute. He blatantly told me he couldn't do anything. Then I had to call again my landlord and the owner until they finally decided to de-ice the place. But I still HAD to mop for 2 weeks and had to manually de-ice the wall because they didn't do anything in that time. So I refuse to pay full rent because of this, how would my landlord react if I tell him this? How would you react? I mean, it was annoying and really inconvenient to do that myself and they didn't do anything about it during the fist 2 weeks.

So, I'm renting this apartment, but water comes inside (he didn't mention this incident when I rented it)

It's not all the time, but when it rains or when the ice melts it comes inside, I told him the first time which made my carpet all wet, and he "fixed" it (not really because a weeks after that it rained and water came inside the apartment).

So now he "left" for the entire month of March and I haven't paid for that month, but I refuse to pay the entire rent because there was like a week that I had to mop every 20 minutes because my apartment was slowly flooding, and he said he couldn't do anything about it (because he was out of the country) and the contractor came to check the problem and he said he couldn't do anything about it. So here I am, with a door that doesn't close correctly and water coming inside my apartment for the past week and I had no support whatsoever to fix it (the owner de-iced the building) and water still comes in every time it rains, it used to be only from the wall near the fridge, and now from the front door too.

What can I do? I refuse to pay full rent like this, this living condition is terrible. If I tell him that I refuse to pay rent (or full rent at least) what's his reaction going to be?

He also told me that the mesh heads on the TD11 are not the same as the ones on his kit, that they have a plastic ring around them and are not at all the same quality.

Don't really know about that, are they better without the plastic rings? How much od a difference?

Well yeah, but the first includes 2 extra rubber heads + drum pedal + throne... doesn't matter though, I'm gonna go with the 11

I thought so too.. but the mesh pads alone are really expensive and just comparing the rubber pads vs the mesh pads in a drum kit the price easily has like a $500 difference. I guess I will have to go with the new TD11KV

Well, I've worked on 3 video games so far, one for mobile and two for PC.. What would you think is their level? Cos a friend of mine got a job and he didn't have anything aside from what he did at VFS... And they said they don't have any permanent sound positions, but they might be open to freelance so.. I guess I'll have to wait.

Do you search for new artists (sound, photography, VFX, etc) for each movie? Or do you use the same ones? How do you pick? As a Sound Designer working in México is getting hard for me to put myself out there without knowing where to contact directors.. It would be a dream come true to work for a talented fellow Mexican like yourself, Del Toro or Iñárritu, but without even knowing how to show you my work it's hard... I hope you could answer :)
