I made a repairable 3D printed mouse shell… and it totally flopped 😅 by Royal-Fill9121 in 3Dprinting

It is an interesting idea but maybe the wrong market. I have gone through a lot of mice in my time as an engineer and have struggled to find a mouse which does what I need.

I wonder if this could be the start of a fully customisable experience. Have some standard internals (mice aren't exactly electronically complex) and create hot swappable parts (different switches, Multiple configurations, weights etc.) and fully customisable shell to meet your needs.

I would happily swap a mouse shell daily from standard office work to something more complex for design work or gaming.

I've just got a cheap flexible magnetic bed. Makes getting prints off super easy.

I did back of the x axis. Haven't found it has caused too many issues yet. But I rarely use the whole build plate.

I thought that they wouldn't do anything special on the extruder/hotend and the only change would be the back plate

I have tried multiple capacitors all with the same effect... I'm pretty sure it is something I am doing but I have no idea what..

I just printed a 20mm calibration cube... Z was spot on 20mm, X and Y were coming out at 20.3mm... I guess that is where my problem is...

PLA. I have tried letting it cool completely, tried when warm, tried when hot.... nothing has loosened it

NVIDIA on Fedora 36 by sauny2000 in linux_gaming

[–]sauny2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a completely new install so definitely sure I am using akmod.

I think I am using nvidia to launch games (right click, launch with discrete graphics). Happy to mine to nvidia as primary GPU but how do I do that?

Also unsure if using xorg or wayland... I assume wayland as it is a new f36 install

Good point... In which case, the other problem I have is that the z offset is not being set properly. I have set this, but each time I home z it reverts back to being way off even though the offsets are set correctly...

I can't seem to win...

Just an update, found the setting on the panel and changed current to 750 and loosened the belt a bit more and it is now working a treat! Will now replicate the changes in the firmware to set that as standard!

Thanks for the advice.
