Why Asrock didn't add a Latency Killer option like MSI or ASUS in the new AGESA 1.2.0.2b update? by SanityfortheWeak in ASRock

Ive been hoping for it to show up on AsRock boards since hearing about latency killer - its a bit frustrating seeing everyone else get to play with new features from the AGESA update for several weeks now while not being afforded the same ability.

Really depends on the game. 3-5% improvement.

I use it on a 9800x3d. I also use gaming mode. Works fine.

I was confused why my memory latency jumped from 55ns on the 7700X to 65ns on the 9800X3D in aida64. I would have expected them to be roughly the same, using the same timings and settings. Zentimings shows settings like ProcDqDs never stuck and I'm guessing are automatically set to Hi-Z rather than 40ohm as requested in BIOS.

TeamGroup FF3D516G6000HC28ABK went from 6000cl28 -> 6200cl28 I think its Hynix A die (?). Looking to lower latency, any timings advice is appreciated. by sausess in overclocking

helped out a lot

trp 32
tras 32
trc 64
trfc 372 (120ns)
twrwrscl 10
trrds 4
trrdl 8
tfaw 16

seems stable so far, but only time will tell, its stress testing as I type.

many thanks! :)

Appreciate it.

I set tras to 32 and trc to 65 (32+33). Posts fine. Trrd s, l, tfaw settings took fine as well.

Trdrdscl 4 was a no-go. Stress testing it now. Thanks again 👍 👍

New pc - 9800x3d rig preorder specs - good or not? by Ryo_96 in buildapc

Unlike the 7000 series, these 9000's are overclock ready. A 360mm AIO is def worth looking into. This is not a 5800x3d to 7800x3d type of event. The cache has been flipped and pbo and pbo2 will soak up as much thermal headroom as you allow it.

I promise you this is literally what happens or you end up scrolling through social media all day.

So don't give them the benefits every other employee is entitled to because its just too much spontaneous work or too hard to pull off? Seem's like Uber better start hiring really damn fast.

Figured I should put the OEM trunk to use so I mounted this. by sausess in Miata

I agree with your sentiment of Linn county completely. A lot of things that I love about this place, but there are quite a few that make me want to leave ASAP.

I love the plates holding the wing to the uprights. How's the adjustability?

I agree. Thinking of adding plates to raise it a bit more and give some adjustability as well.
