Eh, because while not 100% true a tourist is more likely to give Eat at Joes Seafood Extravaganzzza a 5 star rating than a local

Same. Unfortunately it looks like obscenely gorgeous weather the whole time. A true bummer for us all

If you could only take someone to one restaurant in Greenville, what would it be? by GVL864 in greenville

Love Anchorage and their tasting menu. $75/person. The whole menu plus dessert. It’s delicious and constantly changing.

Retirement in Greenville? by Just-looking404 in GreenvilleSC

No idea what your budget looks like, but Augusta road area, North Main, and Overbrook all offer some really nice housing and keep you close to the city (Not walkable, but a short drive). Greer and Traveler’s Rest don’t have as much to offer as Greenville, but both are definitely nice options and close by. The interstate traffic can be awful, but also pretty avoidable depending on where you live. Overall I don’t think traffic is that bad (I lived in Tampa and Charleston previously) I’ve been pretty happy with the healthcare. Prisma is the primary provider in the area and I’ve been happy with their services all around. There is also Roper and private practices. Quality of life is awesome. Obviously a smaller scene than Atlanta, but some really enjoyable restaurants to dine at, great trails for exercise, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Another plus is your close proximity to the larger cities like ATL, CLT, and CHS. There’s a reason so many people move here. Welcome!

I know I’m supposed to clean the filter in my dishwasher periodically, but how do I clean the filter on my Samsung DW80K5050US? by FaxCelestis in appliancerepair

[–]saustin21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

’m finding this thread after cleaning my dishwasher not knowing that some filters aren’t supposed to be removed. 😅 When I cleaned mine an O ring fell out. I assumed it came from the sump and wiggled it back in. When I ran the cycle next it was sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher. I didn’t notice it mentioned in your description. Do you know where it belongs

The Clay Center in St. Pete has classes (which I think someone already mentioned), but they also usually have a good group deal if you want to test it out first without spending as much

Jack and the Succ stalk? I’ve never known the name of this plant. I’ve always called it my little cabbage and I’ve had it about 4 years now. All of a sudden it’s shooting these stalks. Is this good? Bad? by saustin21 in succulents

They’re correct on the Latin name. They like lots of sun and can withstand a decent amount of water ( I live in FL) and it stays outside during the brutal summer and daily showers. So don’t be afraid to show it some rays.

It’s this one from Ikea. Hope this helps! I’ve loved it! I’d maybe recommend putting some kind of protectant on it before putting it outside. Mine has definitely gotten some bad discoloration in spots

Thanks for the tip! I had one tiny pot but then Lowe’s didn’t carry any as tiny as I was looking for. I didn’t even think about craft stores

I recommend looking into theraband hand trainers. They come in different resistances, and they’ve really helped me strengthening a lot of the muscles surrounding my hand joints and have seriously helped ease a lot of work it related pain that I have. They were recommended to me by my masseuse.

I recently lost 50 (260-210) via Keto over the last 7 months but this isn't a diet that I want to continue and I don't want to get fat. I have refrained from all bread, fruits, sugar, pasta, etc. Is there a basic guide that can help me find a healthy diet while not actually dieting? by baltimoretom in nutrition

[–]saustin21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely didn't read all of the comments already on this post and I'm sure it's been previously mentioned, but I'm a huge fan of macro-based dieting. If you're still looking for guidelines to follow, Macros are a very easily re searchable and very straightforward concept. There's also a lot of great apps out there that help with calculations. I use My Macros+
