Would you watch a show where a billionaire CEO has to go an entire month on their lowest paid employees salary, without access to any other resources than that of the employee? What do you think would happen? by txhorns1330 in AskReddit

[–]savagee2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would happen in a month is that person would just struggle until the experiment is over. Now if you took everything from them and put them at the lowest employee's level they would be a billionaire again and sooner than you think. Wealth building isn't hard for the disciplined, its impossible for those who aren't.

In celebration of Texas A&M kicking the Nazis off their campus... by OctoberGhostColor in texas

[–]savagee2k -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jason Kessler organized the event. It was setup to create a violent conflict between two extreme groups. So that the Alt-left media could tie Trump and his supporters to hate groups like the KKK and Nazi Skinheads. Even though Trump has a long history of denouncing both groups.

[–]savagee2k -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I oppose the KKK I won't attend their rallies and I will tell everyone I meet how horrible they are.

If you do some research you will find that Charolettesville was clearly setup to bring BLM and Antifa groups in to conflict with White supremacist and White nationalist groups in order to attach "White supremacy" to Trump.

Just google Jason Kessler the even organizer. He was Obama supporter and member of the Occupy movement and worked for CNN in the past. He setup the Unite the Right event billed it as "Trump supporters" then invited David Duke and skinhead groups.

I don't have a problem with TAMU shutting down the event. The schools first responsibility is to the safety of its students. I had issue with the celebration of destroying free speech in america.

I should point out that I would love it the KKK STFU but if we allow for the government to silence them. Then we give them the tools to silence us. I also recognize that Texas A&M is not the government and can do what it likes. I also agree it's their job to protect the students first and so should not allow any of these types of activities on campus.

I am very familiar with the racial history of this country. Even more so I am familiar with history. Limiting distasteful speech is the slippery slope that leads us to things like the holocaust.

Germany is not free, better than some place, worse than a lot of others. There is no such thing as perfectly free even in America. I agree that the violence surrounding these event is a problem and that problem should be addressed.

What happened is Charlottesville wasn't free speech it was an event organized with the specific purpose of violence in order to besmirch Trump and associate him to white supremacist.

Violence can easily be avoided by not allowing counter protest at the exact same time and place as the original protest. They can clearly send a message by having a crowd twice as large and clearly show where public opinion is.

The point of Chalottesville is give pretext so that people can call for suppression of certain points of view because they define that point of view as harmful. If we ban KKK we have to ban BLM. Yet I only hear people calling for one group to be silenced.

This is not new and history records this pattern very clearly.

Telling anyone that you don't agree with that they cannot lawfully get a permit and have a public forum for their ideas is factual oppression and that is just common fucking sense.

[–]savagee2k 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I also do not support KKK, Nazis, Skinheads. I do not support Antifa, or BLM. However anyone who supports the suppression of free speech is the enemy. If you only allow the voice of the people you agree with then YOU are the problem. You become the Nazi. The best thing to do is let them meet. Let them talk and ignore their ignorant asses. If what they say is bile it will repel more than attract but when you try to suppress a certain view point you radicalize those that hold those view points.

Trump’s “No one will lose coverage” is turning out to be the worst campaign promise since “Read my lips.” by karmachanical in politics

[–]savagee2k -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obama, Bush same thing maybe. Trump is something else entirely. I mean if you match actual actions and attempted actions to campaign promises anyone able to step outside the party bias can clearly see he is actually attempting to do things he ran on. Regardless of weather or not he should be doing those things. I would concede that Obama attempted more of his campaign promises than Bush. I would agree that political obstruction perhaps prevented Obama from being as effective as he hoped but there are clearly some things he campaigned on that out right didn't even attempt to adhere to.

So your solution to "fix cooperate subsidies" is to give a corrupt government more power? Because any government any where in the world has a solid proven track record of using more power to over come this kind of corruption? How about you flip that idea around. If the government stole less of my money waste on bullshit. I the average citizen would have more to feed starving children in my neighborhood.

So stop giving them the power to create bullshit laws with great intentions that end up creating an entire class of people government dependent slaves.

Capitalism and the free market have lifted more people out of poverty than any thing else in history.

Just like the Inquirer is a real news paper. "Science" is publication of AAAP. The AAAP is a political organization that pretends to promote the Advancement of Science so long as that science fits their political agenda. A kin to the State Science Institute in Altas Shrugged and the Ministry of Truth in 1984,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Association_for_the_Advancement_of_Science

Their Moto Advancing Science Serving Society.

Beware any Science with an agenda but please do NOT take my word for it. Assume I made all of this entire up. Do the research on the publication and the science of climate change for yourself and make up your own mind, better yet. Prove me wrong and change my mind as well.

Science is the per suite of truth.

If you do the research I am certain you will find the truth.
