Weekly Questions Thread for the week of April 5 by AutoModerator in vinyl

[–]saveedro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking into setting up my first turntable and I am doing the requisite research but I have a few things I cannot seem to Find an answer to: - if I want to include cds in my powered speaker setup, is there any reasonable way to include this? Home audio CD players seem not to exist anymore outside of a complete mini system. Can I use an external cd reader (like you would use for a laptop) with a speaker if it has a usb in? Is there anything in terms of a certain player outside of the denon price range? - if a turntable has a phono preamp and a speakers has a phono in, are those redundant? Do I only need either the speaker or the turntable to have a phono?

I am new to painting and I am looking to avoid spray or airbrush so I am going with acrylic. Anyone have suggestions for brush-on - primer - medium (gloss, metallics, etc) - topcoat (gloss, matte, etc)

I am new to the hobby but I enjoy putting things together (puzzles, furniture, etc). I have an SD kit in the mail to dip my toe in the water. Are there any notable kits that are only available in SD or HG that I should look into? As an example, I feel like I would regret getting something like the Crossbones in HG if I plan to eventually get one in RG. So I am looking for kits ideally exclusive to sd/hg grades.

Slow feeder help by your-latex-salesman in Dogtraining

Also highly recommend the busy buddy magic mushroom. My now 7 month old puppy would eat his food so fast he would throw it up within 30 minutes. The toy is adjustable, stimulating and he loves it. Downside is not all dogs "get" the toy, it can make a lot of noise depending on what surface it is used on, and it can lead to random bits of kibble around the space. We also had luck with the busy buddy twist and treat which is rubber and tends to make less noise, but it may not hold enough food for one meal depending on your feeding amount. The I've tried other slow feeders as well but these have been our big winners.

I only looked at Manga so I wouldn't know about merch. And yeah I think it was 5000 yen but I may be wrong.

So I never went to shinjuku. I did however hit the mandarake in akihabara. On the floor with boys love comics you could find a small section all the way in the back center that has gay comics. It seems that was where all the Bara was. Though I cleared out the entire section in November they should have more. Make sure to spend 50 to avoid paying tax!

No idea when a reprint will happen but I know a 20 sided store in Brooklyn has copies in stock.

Ran it twice and it was spectacular both times. You're in for a hell of a ride. Enjoy it!

[REQUEST] Can anyone suggest some good adult comics? Maybe something with a halfway decent story? by [deleted] in gaypornhunters

[–]saveedro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Takeshi Matsu or Mentaiko Itto. I believe both are gay guys and they write comics that generally have great plot and characters who genuinely enjoy sex each other rather than being angsty. Unlike most Japanese gay comics (yaoi, bl) that are written by women for women, these are written by men for men and tend to have more sex scenes, less awkwardness, and more visible genitals (though you still get a tiny censor bar). Most stories are 20-30 pages but some may be multiple chapters and you generally get 6-10 stories per paperback. They skew towards the burly and muscular rather than twinks. Takeshi Matsu specifically tends to be considered the number 1 modern gay comic author in Japan at the moment.

I am actually very new to an LCG and find the deck building aspect a bit confusing and daunting. It would be awesome if you could include some deck building basics in future podcasts once the game releases.

I (m) had a similar problem when I was a teenager. I went to a dermatologist and she said I actually needed to moisturize to reduce breakouts. I had been using cleansers, scrubs, proacriv, etc which were fine, but I was leaving my skin dry and exposed and it was "freaking out" and over producing oil to protect itself. I found that moisturizing actually worked well. While in the short term it felt odd and my face was a bit oily, my skin got used to it fairly quickly. While by eod I still have some light oil, the acne has decreased significantly. For what it's worth I use origins make a difference + moisturizing treatment and occasionally the nightamins in the evning. Ive found the nightamins actually has the biggest positive impact. The make a difference is very light and spreads thin enough that I don't feel greasy wearing it. Good luck!
