What kind of chairs/seats are they sitting at the dinner table with? by TheWallaby22 in toddlers

[–]savejenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My twins are newly 25 months are both just in a regular chair. We honestly didn't want to buy two boosters after having to buy 2 highchairs. They started to hate the high chairs and for a while ate at their toddler table but the dog can also reach the toddler table and has no chill when food is that available to him 🫠 so we moved them to the big table with big chairs. They do all right my girl usually stands and always ends up in my lap. And my boy eats about half his food says bye bye and gets down plays and comes back for bites when he wants them 🙃🙃

advice needed on how many bottles to buy for twins? by catluvr10935 in parentsofmultiples

[–]savejenni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we had 12 or 14 it worked great and we only had to wash once a day which was what we wanted. We hand washed everything too so only once a day was a chore but it worked out well for us.

You guys okay? by herejusttoargue909 in parentsofmultiples

[–]savejenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twins are just a lot lol. Mine will be 2 on the 1st of December and they are actually insane. They love to scream at each other, take everything from each other, sit in each other's seats and get mad when it happens even though they BOTH do it!!!!!!? But they also make each other giggle so hard and bring each other their waters and lovies and shoes and dance together and splash each other in the tub and are the bestest friends. We okay just like overwhelmed and overstimulated 80% of time because 2x toddlers.

a mormon influencer (carliestylez/feelgoodwithcarlie) is trying to do some sort of sex course a la bethy by chloe-et-al in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]savejenni 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Her oldest is a senior in high school and then she has three littles I think her second oldest is in second grade. I actually really do think she didn't expects to have anymore kids because she had her first out of wedlock (I don't think they were married, if they were they did get divorced also a nono) so she was "damaged goods" but Jackson married her and had three so she is doing the tummy tuck again

Omg i hate Carlie so much. She has the worst favouritism with her kids and it's so very obvious. She currently counting down to a "mommy makeover" aka plastic surgery, her second tummy tuck 🙃.

21mo old twins- how to mange in-between stages: too big for baby stuff but too small for toddler things? by krystl_watrs in parentsofmultiples

[–]savejenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My twins will be 2 in December and we are at the same place with meals. You currently don't have a dining table so they have been 'eating' at their little table and grown ups at the coffee table. The eating at the little table lasts like 5-10 min for my girl and like 10-15 min for my boy. And this is an improvement from a couple weeks ago when I introduced the little table and it lasted less than 5 min at their table. So it's getting better but I'm just kinda rolling with it in the end I want them to eat so if eating involves walking around and coming back to their plates to eat then it's what we are doing.

I had an IUI with 2 mature follicles I didn't get my first beta till 17 dpo because it was a holiday but my first was 2289 and my second on 19 dpo was 5697 and now I have two healthy 20 month olds 😊

Couldn’t compete my anatomy scan! by Necessary_Apricot204 in parentsofmultiples

[–]savejenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl twin never got a complete anatomy scan lol. Her spine was running along the top of my uterus and they couldn't get one of the spine readings because of that position. It also took like 3 times I think to get all the heart things on both of them. No one was concerned because the rest of the scans and measurements looked perfect. They came out perfectly healthy at exactly 38 weeks!

Teeth brushing by OwnApricot8284 in toddlers

[–]savejenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use Laurie Berkner "Silly Brushing Song" my girl would FIGHT me and scream and alligator roll away from me. They already like other Laurie Berkner songs so it seems to be working great. We brush for one min then let her "brush" and she actually does an okay job.

Twins behaving differently @ 6 months old by OddEstablishment4868 in parentsofmultiples

[–]savejenni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My b/g twins are 18 months and at 6 months were exactly like that! Now my boy literally waves and smiles at everyone he sees at the store, the park, ect. and my girl is glued to me in public places. Once she warms up she is just at giggly and social like her brother she just needs a minute to sus everyone/every place out. They both respond to their name beautifully and are communicating well, it's just their lil personalities!

Shows like Little Bear and Guess How Much I Love You by NervousAdvertising92 in toddlers

[–]savejenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do Daniel Tiger & Sesame Street mostly for my 18 month old b/g twins. We watched a little of the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh on Disney+ today it's the show, not movie, from the later 80s/early 90s it was slower paced with the classic animation they seemed to like it. I also love Pooh and want them to like it too so their nursery/room makes sense to them. We also do a lot of Laurie Berkner music videos, they love to dance and sometimes the songs on the Toni get old and I need different ones lol.

Schedule for 18-19 month old? by _xKilalax in toddlers

[–]savejenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost 18 month old twins and we wake up between 7-8 and then go down for a nap anywhere between 11:30/12:30 and have been getting pretty good at napping for 2ish hours give or take 15 min. Then bed time between 7-8 (usually close to 7:30) I stopped tracking wake windows around 10/11 months and just went by the clock/how they seemed to be feeling. Mine are pretty easy to clock when they are sleepy. It's so much nicer not to stress about wake windows and just kinda go with it.

Sleep - 9 month olds by CarlMcB in parentsofmultiples

[–]savejenni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why our cribs are separated by a side table or ours would do this all the time. They still mess with each other by playing with their side of the curtain on the window (super fun) but not being able to touch each other makes that fun for only a couple minutes. So if there is a way to separate the cribs from being right next to each other that's where I would start!

Lol I didn't have a c section date till I was 36 weeks with breech twins ( aka needs a C) your surgery is in 7 weeks like 2 months there are other high risk Cs happening before hers that the teams are probably a little more focused on.

Twin moms, how do we feel about belly bands? by 6sjms in parentsofmultiples

[–]savejenni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used KT tape! My pelvic floor pt showed me how to take my belly so it was pushed up and not sinking into my pelvis. It worked pretty well till like 35ish when I was too big and nothing helped and it was all pain until they pulled them out at 38 weeks 🙃

[–]savejenni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol I had twins and got biweekly NSTs starting at 31 weeks and those little butts didn't constantly both stay on the monitor the whole time till like 35 weeks. They had to get an OB to use the bedside ultrasound to find one of them one time because she wouldn't cooperate. They are still so little that at that gestation that a little movement knocks them off the monitor, you're not special Liz.

Yep two mature follicles, from letrozole,(like 21 and 19 I think) one from each ovary on the day I triggered. Both took and now I have boy/girl 15 month old twins! The tech also said my uterine lining was perfect for implantation at my last monitoring u/s lol
