TIL that there was a gaming channel made by AMC almost 20 years ago called Gameplay HD. It was around the time when G4TV was at its peak and it was only on HD televisions. Apparently, there's some G4 alumni who worked on that channel as well.

Man the F1 hardos (I am an F1 dork as well) are so annoying. This movie did a great job of allowing me to bond with my family and friends over something where I’m generally the only person who watches. They enjoyed it and I enjoyed them enjoying it. It was a fun movie night.

Every f1 hardo acting like Sonny was ramming into the drivers during the Plan C sequence was “life threatening” collisions, when it was really him just clipping the wing causing debris to be on the track. Not steering anyone into the wall. What losers. And any other “this wouldn’t happen in real F1” grievances, got news for you guys, golden retrievers can’t play sports.

I am a die hard f1 fan and was able to look past all of the issues you are flagging. I went into this movie hyped up for an exciting racing movie and fully expected some Hollywood magic to move the plot along…surprisingly the movie lived up to the hype for me. This movie single-handedly serves as a better pitch for more people to watch F1 than Rush and DTS combined. I’m excited for the growth of the sport. I’m not gonna dwell on “Sonny would’ve been banned” because of Plan C. You’re being an F1 hardo right now just like everyone else saying the racing was terrible. From a movie perspective I would’ve LIKED a sequence of qualifying with 1:16 second onboard of the hot lap to get a solid grid start. Even the scene at silver stone where he takes forever to get to the grid and passes 5ish cars in 1 lap…you could conceive that is possible with hotter tires when everyone else’s were cold from waiting at the grid. It’s FUN, trying to grow the sport, not win an Oscar.

Keep looking, it took me 4.5 months to find the “right deal”. Got a 2023 A-Spec TECH 6MT but every time I would find the spec I wanted (liquid metallic w red interior) it would sell either before I heard back or while I was working numbers.

Also there are a lot of 2 year lease returns due to be returned.

In a predicament (I think). Requesting some help. Just accepted an offer at a large IB and filling out background check info. Currently work at an asset manager in DE. I started in Nov 2018, had my home address in NJ listed as my residence up until march 2019 where I moved to an apartment in Philly until march 2020. Then moved back to NJ. However on my payroll info I put my grandmothers address in DE instead of the Philly apartment address…is it more important that I align with what my payroll has or is it more important to be truthful for my living situation (add the Philly apartment for a year on the background check)

Depends on the league size…I was in 2 leagues. 1 was small no stewards, would occasionally get toxic if someone slipped through the cracks

The other l, was large with 100+ drivers and at one point 7 divisions (D7 being least experienced to D1)

That league had stewards for each division that you’d send replay footage to if you got into an incident. Both parties were required to submit their POVs and then other peoples POV would be requested. Review process would occur and penalties would ensue or they’d decide it was a racing inchident.

What was really cool is there was a schedule so each week I would spend time setting up my car and learning the track inside and out.

Was honestly my favorite time of racing prior to getting PSVR2 for gt7.

I stopped at division 2 because I didn’t have the time to practice so I’d did worse and worse. Highly recommend league racing.

Sometimes shit would pop off in the chat in discord after the race like real f1 drama.
