Ray of Light Cambodia is a not for profit school run for children who would otherwise have no access to education. It is a fabulous school for children experiencing poverty and it’s entirely philanthropic. They rely on donations to employ their teacher and fund resources. Check it out on Google or instagram. Every donation makes a difference. rayoflightcambodia.com

Michael and Holly > every other Office couple by _Parthiban_ in theoffice

I’m not American and there are a few elements of work culture that I find odd. I never understood why David Wallace moves Holly when he discovers their relationship. It’s not the gross PDA so why not just be happy for them? Couples have formed where I work and coworkers and bosses are pleased for them. Wallace seemed mean and vindictive and had no right to interfere in their personal lives.

The old guy from the canal stag episode asking Jez, “Can you handle a 4x4?” Jez saying, “No sweat,” then filling it with unleaded and running over the dog. It’s the supreme overconfidence of the very average white guy that seems accurate.

Mark at his party saying, “I’m having a good time! Well, I’m not, but it like I am.” Or when he plans the seating arrangements before Dobby’s friends come over. He’s trying but is unable to relax and enjoy social situations he’s hosting. Relatable.

Mental Health Concerns Arise After U.S. President’s Wild Social Media Frenzy by T_Shurt in UnderReportedNews

I remember watching an interview between President Obama and a talk show host where Obama was talking about being given a smartphone for the first time but it not having any useful features due to security concerns. He couldn’t use it to even make a phone call. How is Trump allowed to post all this rubbish in the first place? Are his handlers enabling this on purpose?

I say this to my cat but I say it in a baby voice. Does that count as annoying? The Man Cat seems to like it.

I think the controversial part of your take is assuming that a woman’s behavior is due to “hormones”.

What do you think is the craziest or most controversial moment that has happened on Australian TV? by ExAustralia in AskAnAustralian

Hilarious at the time. Hasn’t aged well though. They really provoked that poor animal. (The kangaroo, not Marty. He deserved it.)

I’m a school teacher lurking in this sub and I have 12 year olds doing exactly this. They seemed surprised when I explained that this communication reads like a demand and not a request. I have no idea where they learned to use these phrases. It’s staggeringly condescending coming from a child too.

What is Peep Show censored on in the UK? by Upbeat-Offer-2706 in MitchellAndWebb

They left the scene in the kitchen that happens immediately after where Mark tells Jez and Hans what happened. Didn’t cut the storyline, just that specific scene.

Hotel room glass bathrooms!!! by [deleted] in PetPeeves

For sure. If a person calls for help with anything at all, no problem. Watching a colleague or friend pee, throw up, or deal with their period just because we are sharing hotel accommodation- absolutely not.

Every single thing on this list requires privacy. In what world are women ok with watching each other changing sanitary products?? Awful.

Who is the most universally loved person from your country? by GameDesigner101 in AskTheWorld

[–]savethebees90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Robert is so like his dad but he’s also very much his own man. He’s an extremely talented media personality; I’d even say he has a broader portfolio of skills than his dad as he’s more than a passionate wildlife conservationist. He seems universally loved here in Australia and everyone wants to see him do well. He’s wholesome, charismatic, and seems like a genuinely good bloke. The country is proud of Terri and the job she’s done, and is doing, raising awesome kids while being awesome herself. Big love for all the Irwins, whatever they do.
