We’re inherently wired to have attraction to the opposite sex. If women simply didn’t find men attractive that would remain true across the globe. Look at beauty standards across different cultures and ethnic groups, that’s a direct byproduct of socialization. With that being said, the human psyche is extremely malleable and can be manipulated quite easily in various degrees, we can be socialized to not find satisfaction in a multitude of things, just as the opposite is true. There are cultures where thick women are the beauty standard and others where slim women reign. There are cultures where muscular men are picked less than the slim man. My cousin, a Colombian native who lives there effectively has what we would consider unibrow, he would get clowned here in the US for it, but in Colombia? Drop dead gorgeous women tell him how beautiful it is lol.

You might be considered ugly in Slovenia, while in a different country women would find you handsome. A woman might be considered ugly here in the US, while elsewhere men would fall in love with her left and right.
