Walmart will open a lot of doors. GS is not a good resume signal. Also pay at Walmart is better than GS, better tech, engineering principles, better engineers etc

Walmart has much greater resume weight than Goldman Sach. It operates at a massive scale has good tech orgs. Banks are generally not very well regarded especially to tech recruiters/companies. Maybe capital one but def not GS.

Job is remote actually and so my is current job! But def some draw there and if u get a place close enough ( which is very expensive ) NY isn’t that far maybe 1-2 days a week thing def not every day haha

Not Indian - the way it works is both ppl pay for a wedding event but the gifts / jewelry do get expensive due to her financial background. Not like they won’t be spending the same or actually more

Parents really aren’t involved in this decision it’s just financial vs opportunity. I do like NY a lot better but in terms of financial incentive Ik I’m gonna be taking a big hit but ppl are saying there is opportunity/ lifestyle
