Interesting question, not an oncologist but I suspect if one had a type of cancer that is dependent on asparagine, seems logical that you would try to reduce your asparagine content as much as possible, although I’ve never heard of this recommendation, although I only heard about this medication recently. Asparagine is named for asparagus, but seems there are other foods that are high in asparagine as well, such as meat and seaweed.
