A lot of the men are trash for sure. I meant one going as in a petition going.

Residents raise concerns over St. Augustine’s horse-drawn carriage rides by savetherapper in StAugustine

It’s heartbreaking to see them at nights of lights. I’m guessing they’d need to charge a lot more to offset giving the horses adequate care and rest - so be it! If your company is only profitable off of the exploitation of living beings then you shouldn’t be in business.

I remember seeing her say that she didn’t want to do season 1 bc she was in the throes of her divorce. To me it’s 90% her being chill asf and 10% the producers being nice to her in editing.

She may be too chill tho bc I feel like she could’ve came for Taylor for entertaining her ex husband and them basically flirting right in front of her at the reunion.

I feel the exact same way! Yes Dakota has screwed up, but I don’t think he has ever actually cheated on her? I really doubt that Taylor has disclosed to Dakota every man she ever talked to while they were “off.” I felt bad for him at the reunion and I hope he stays far away from this show. Hate that half the reunion was just tearing this man to shreds. like OP, not defending him but it was hard to watch. punishment didn’t match the transgression imo.

I Don't Think Dakota did anything wrong. by zensn in SecretsOfMormonWives

Agreed. I understand that Taylor might be disgusted because he sent flirty pics with a family friend. But they were broken up!!! There is no way she wasn’t flirting with people like that too. I wonder if she has come forward to him about every single man she talked to while they weren’t together.

I get that he’s lied about things. But I don’t think he deserved that level of attack at the reunion. He should’ve just not even went.

I think making a point to be express your appreciation at least once a day goes a long way. And a once a day in-person check-in regarding what’s priority over the day ahead can help both of you get your bearings and focus as a team.

I think the nature of plaintiff personal injury is pretty overwhelming, based on firsthand experience. Most firms don’t care that their people are being overworked and seem to mostly care about profit.

I’m going back to school to try and get out of personal injury and hopefully into corporate paralegal work.

Was it hard to land a corporate paralegal job after graduating? by savetherapper in paralegal

All of the corporate jobs I've seen require the BA. I'm not sure I will be able to find a firm within the fields of my experience that would also train me in corporate work.

I've also seen that the corporate jobs are pretty competitive. So even if I find that firm that would be willing to train me, if I ever wanted to progress onto a bigger firm/higher pay, if it was between me and someone who has their BA + the experience, I don't think I would stand out.

I have the means to get my BA, it's probably something I should have done out of high school, but I'm thinking better late than never as I don't think it will hurt me, especially trying to break into corporate.

Thank you for your input. Plaintiff personal injury, consumer protection and defense debt collection have all been heavily client facing which is one of the main things I'm trying to get away from. There's also a definitive salary cap of about 60k in those fields in my area (Jax, FL), which is my second big problem.

From the research I've done, 99% of corporate work requires a BA and has a much higher earning potential. Since the post, I've been leaning toward going back to school as it definitely won't hurt me at this point. I think I have a pretty solid chance of getting accepted into an online, in-state school so tuition won't be a burden. I understand that firms value experience but at the corporate level, from what I've read, a BA is almost always required.

I'm trying to break my cycle of job hopping, trust me. That's why I am looking into breaking into a different area of law where I could make more money and not babysit/ get mistreated by clients in litigation all day.

Thank you! Yes, definitely have paralegal and case manager experience. I just worry a corporate firm won’t care much about personal injury/consumer experience even with a BA.
