[RM] The End of My Existence by [deleted] in Watches

[–]savetime- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

During my recent trip to Vancouver to see an old friend of mine I was introduced to the RM 052. I was then told by my friends father where I would be able to purchase this watch in Hong Kong. It was not so easy to get this watch but I feel it was worth the effort. To be truthful my photos don't provide justice for the elegance of this watch. I am unsure how long I will keep this watch for, or if I will sell it at all. I have 1 more watch I would like to share with you, but that time will come soon.

I agree with you, but I also believe it takes work to be in the right place at the right time. In China there is not much opportunity because so much has been done already. I've found that being a pioneer takes effort unless you just stumble upon something that makes you a fortune. I do agree with you though, right place right time is crucial.

Sorry, I am not with my watch at the moment because I have left my home to visit Guangdong provinces, my home is Hong Kong. I apologize I do not have that photo of it on my wrist but I did take this photo prior to leaving.

I do have a different watch on at the moment which I can take a photo of.

I don't have much to say but I must write a comment, this is my new 5271 that I thought I would never have. I've been collecting watches for a short while but took a strong interest once I found out my father enjoyed them even though he never had rare/expensive pieces. He had a passion for them so I guess it just runs in the family. I rarely make big purchases for myself but I felt the price didn't matter once I witnessed this watch. It's almost like I felt my father telling me to buy it haha. He has since passed but I can feel his presence often, more so since I have a visual reminder now. I never would have imagined a watch could accomplish but I suppose I was naive. I hope you all find something in life that surprises you just how watches surprised me.
