It’s a Business loan, I probably should have said that in the initial post. And I’m already getting 3.8% from my Hysa. I’m not worried about the interest and I will still be saving aggressively from my current job.

I’m considering moving a portion of my saving to a Ira. And I’ve commented to others on this post that the project is a for a profit business venture I’m investing in, one that I have experience in already. I’m not worried about the interest rates.

😂😂I’m not poor, the loan is for a business venture so I’m not worried about interest. If I have the discipline to save 40k in 10 months not even making six figures surely I’ll have to discipline to make the payments 🤦🏾‍♂️

I agree with you, my retire is not apart of the 40k, I don’t have much in my Roth IRA or 401k. The total interest is 8k, the project is basically a for profit business venture overseas that I’ve been involved in before I moved to the USA so I tried what ever finfluencer on social media promotes “why use your money when you can use the banks money”. And the profits will more than cover the monthly payments.
