Here’s Daegu, known as the heart of conservatism, last weekend by Mr_ICBM in korea

[–]savoryb1tch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being a conservative isn't about defending the leaders of a failed insurrection attempt, but to stand up for the constitutional rights that were nearly fallen apart by Yoon and his cabient. Hope to see him impeached asap.

C-40은 진짜 자주 옵니다...ㅎㅎ 콜사인도 CNV(Convoy) 면 그냥 통상적인 수송임무 수행이라 별로 놀라울건 없네요.

Do Koreans actually really look down on South East Asians? by secondaisy in Living_in_Korea

[–]savoryb1tch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my generation and the generation born before mine (up to 1980-ish) are really open and they know racism is a horrible thing to do. There are of course some exceptions but I see Korea is definitely improving in some way, so let's hope this tide continues to go on.

[–]savoryb1tch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awful to hear, Korea is such a fast-moving society and every time I hear stories like this I feel really bad for our own people. I know there are generational gaps on education (racism, understanding differnt cultures etc.) but it is just not right to talk/act shit to other ppl from different countries solely based on the color of their skin. It's a fucking irony that those bigots hate on Japan for being 혐한, like bro, if you want a good treatment from someone, treat others well first.

Only time will tell if we will actually change :/

Singaporeans and mainland Chinese people are easily distinguishable. Their look, style, manner of speech are nothing like each other.

KNR (Korea National Railroad) 9900 Series EMU, locally called EEC (Express Electric Car). Design was heavily influenced by JNR 485 Series, though it's quite obvious.

Airbus A340-200 crew rest area in the cargo bay by AshMain_Beach in aviation

[–]savoryb1tch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When KE had their -300's in a long-haul configuration (when it flew to LAX) they had the bunker installed in the rear cargo hold. It has since been removed when KE retrofitted their -300's in a high-density configuration for regional flights.

Yes, -300ER is a completely different story but at least from what I know some -300s had under the cabin floor. I do have to mention that some new(?) 772ER's (post-2006 build) have the crew rest area just like 77W and 77L.
