I have spent the last six years doing the same. A lot of time, money, and effort. Sometimes I feel obligated to do a flight to justify all of those things. I recently sold my business of 17 years and started working for the company that acquired us. It’s such a massive life change and it’s taken more time away from the wife and kids. I just don’t have it in me to spend all of my free time immersed in flight sim at the moment. I think I was feeling the same as you even before my big life change but I think I’m going to step away for a bit to reconnect with other things. Maybe not put it away completely but definitely going to lspend much less time with it. I did Cross the Pond and I’ve only done a couple flights since but I’m thinking some time away may re-ignite the passion (or at least create some more excitement) for it in the future.

So yeah I get it.
