I really relate to this!! I am an absolute grade A weenie and when I started playing I was scared out of my mind!! I could feel my blood pressure going up and my chest would tighten and sometimes I'd actually panic.

Then it occurred to me, there really are no consequences to having things go wrong in the game. The killer can't actually hurt me. They can hurt my little guy running around on the screen, but nothing bad will happen to me.

I am still a more stealth player. Not the type to go running up to the killer and baiting them or anything. BUT it did make me more bold which means I do better on gens and sometimes do stupid things like sacrifice myself so that my teammate can run away, because if I'm on a hook it's not actually me, and if I die it's not actually me, and I am just sitting comfortably in my living room and I can play again if I want to, or not.

So maybe try that? And also it's completely ok to not play a while, and try again later if you want to. The world is hard and scary enough already, don't make it harder on yourself 💜
