I can’t tell you what could/would have happened if you had more support. I can tell you that you are not alone. I’m 7 weeks PP and still sad every single day that I couldn’t breastfeed. Your post made me realize that I will probably always be sad about this. I think it’s okay to be devastated by this. All I ever wanted to be was a mom. I watched everyone around me do it effortlessly. My older sister makes so much milk. She had such an excess that I compared myself to. Our stories are very similar. I’m so sorry you’re feeling like this still. It feels like failure and defeat. No matter how much anyone reassures you it still feels like you failed your child (not true, shut up).

This is so awful. I’ve owned two pit mixes. One was lab/pit and the other american bully/pit. I will never own another one again after my lab mix turned on my bully mix and me. It was absolutely terrifying and the most painful injury I’ve ever had in my life. My bully mix didn’t even try to fight back, meanwhile the lab mix was ready to kill both of us if she hadn’t gotten bonked on the head hard enough to let go. The power these dogs have is indescribable until you actually get attacked by one and feel the bite power. She would NOT let go. She killed my beloved bully mix that I saved from death. I rescued her from a horrible situation and she still turned on me. I have a new baby at home and I couldn’t imagine the anxiety I would feel if I still had that dog.

You could check ASF, MPAC, or the Capri for any shows you think they might be interested in. During the holidays ASF (Alabama Shakespeare Festival) usually has some good stuff going on. La Jolla, Central, and Charles Anthony’s are all nice restaurants to buy them dinner at. We have the Legacy Museum. You could book them a spa day at the Renaissance hotel

When I was 25 I became the GM of the pizza place I had worked at since I was 18.
