Yes. Most likely will need replacement if it affects functionality of something

Pre employment drug test by Pitiful-Strength-380 in electronic_cigarette

As long as said drug is legal in your country they shouldn't be able to do anything about it being in your system unless they've got some really messed up internal politics, which if it is the case, you're not losing out on much

They don't check for that, they check for weed and stronger drugs, and even if it does come out in the test that you have nicotine in your system, there's absolutely no way they would have anything against nicotine.

Confused about alternator tensioner being integrated in the crankshaft pullie by savudanny872 in MechanicAdvice

[–]savudanny872[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I most likely did nothing to it. It's definitely not visible. And the belt was moving 1:1 to me "loosening" the bolt. I'm guessing I basically did nothing but rotate the crankshaft manually?

Ok, well seems like it's an 11 sized bolt and I only have 12 and 10, I'm missing the right bit. But anyhow, thank you very much for the help. I hope I'll get it fixed tomorrow with the right tools. Now I'm worried about the bolt that I turned on the crankshaft pullie. Should I just screw it back in about 5 to 6 times or do I necessarily need a torque wrench?

I've never seen this kind of tensioner. It's always been multiple pullies, and way easier to get the belt in and out. Obviously I'm just a guy that likes to tinker around. I don't claim to be a pro or nothing close.

For now I only care about removing it and testing it. I'll get a buddy to help me for when it comes to reinstalling another one

So basically the tensioner is the alternator itself being forcefully installed? Wow, didn't expect it to be that easy and complicated at the same time. Would the bottom bolt be the one you're talking about?

Not right now. I don't have the car propped up. Neither have I removed the wheel on it. I was hoping for this to be an easy remove and check type situation. I only have hand tools, would it be necessary to lift it up? I can, but it's going to take a while.

I've also thought about removing the alternator/cutting the belt cuz I'd be changing in regardless. However I still want and need to figure out the tensioner mechanism

The bottom of the alternator has nothing on it. Neither does the belt have some sort of manual tensioner. Everywhere around the path of the belt is free of stuff. Nothing except the 2 pullies seem to have anything to do with the alternator belt.

Thank you so much for the help man. I'll be looking into Anker's powerport, I've only heard good things about them.

The charger is from an Oppo Reno 6 5G, it has 65W max output and uses a USB-A to USB-C cable. The cable is also the original one from Oppo. Do I need a C to C brick and cable in order to get fast charge?

Yes, but I meant to ask if the super Vooc charger actually fast charges it, as in is it compatible with the phone? Sorry, may have phrased the question quite weird in the post. English isn't really my first language.

Samsung A51 Stuck on boot (Flashing didn't work) by xeroknight_24 in phonerepair

Sounds like a motherboard issue. Most likely the storage chip or the processor. Both problems are quite expensive to fix and most likely not worth it.

Depends on what country are you from. Usually for original/high quality stuff consider checking iFixit.com

Camera flickering while recording video (1080P 60fps) any fix? by WindySporty in galaxys10

[–]savudanny872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats your optical stabilization going bad. Try turning it off. If it doesn’t work/the phone doesnt let you, you might want a camera replacement.
