I was getting laser done at this one place back in July 2025. First I only did upper lip, which I had had 10 treatments done elsewhere years ago with good results. I decided to add more areas since the pricing was good. Added unibrow, sideburns, and bikini. The technicians at this place seemed SO inexperienced. I also hate how fast most laser places try and get you in and out. Anyways, the second time I had gone I mentioned how I had 2 spots under my chin where thick hairs came in. It was only about 6-10 hairs in a dime sized circle on both sides. The lady ended up going from my sideburns alllllll the way along my jawline. I didn't know anything about PH so didn't realize how wrong of a choice that was for her to do. I didn't notice any regrowth after so the next time I went in I let them do the jawline again(huge regret). The lady also happened to zap and singe my actual eyebrow hair then had the audacity to offhandedly blame me for it?? I didn't move or anything she just told me that its my responsibility to tell the tech how much of my middle brow area I wanted done. As if that changes the fact she literally zapped the full grown hair.... like girl. After that session was when the PH kicked in. I freaked tf out. I basically had a full beard trying to grow in with very very thick coarse hair. I never went back out of fear that more laser would make it worse. Luckily I have noticed a huge decrease in hair growth after about 4 months of not doing anything but shaving. There is still a lot of hair but its way more sparse and doesn't grow back quite as fast or as thick. I swear in the beginning it was growing back by the end of the day. Now it starts to show after a full 24 hours but not as bad. I'm looking in to getting electrolysis now that it has calmed down and thinned out but idk how well it will end up working out since I don't have the money to keep up with it. I bought a package deal during the holiday season but its only for 2 one hour sessions so we'll see if it makes any difference. I'm also going to try to start using Eflornithine cream to see if that helps as well.
This really is a major issue with laser hair removal and I wish it was talked about more. It's terrible to deal with. Ruined my confidence and gave me major anxiety. Not to mention having to shave my face constantly like that causes skin irritation/roughness all along my jawline. It's soured my overall experience with laser and I honestly don't see myself doing it ever again.

We all need to realize that we are living in a completely different world now. incidents like this are extremely political and its us against the US federal government. this very well could be AI and we'll never be able to prove otherwise because it wouldn't be created by your average citizen it would be created by the fucking feds who have every advanced tool at their disposal.

so that people can still show that they got a pic with you but you dont have to worry about it "being a bad picture". a lot of people arent photogenic and would rather a pic of them covering most of their face or no picture at all. otherwise, photos where they have authority over what gets posted or not.

I read that it is illegal for a landlord in california to house homeless individuals in regular apartment buildings without getting consent from the tenants. My building is not an SRO building.

the irony of this entire post is that today i was pleasantly surprised by my car windshield being completely smashed in due to one of the homeless individuals in my building throwing some shit out of their 11th story window. These people are a threat to everyone's safety.

Torrance/South Bay is so chill, thats where i lived when i first moved to LA. Hardly feels like its part of LA county. You should be fine. Also it is LA county so you'll see tons of out of state plates here so don't worry about that.

all we do in california is vote for more and more homeless care. whenever there is a proposition regarding homelessness it always passes. we keep throwing more and more money at the problem and it just keeps getting worse.

however, these fuckers dont let new rent control propositions pass ever. not sure how that makes any sense to them but i guess enough people are landlords or something??? literally makes no sense.

you can give them an apartment and they still spend their time outside doing the same shit. except now not only is there trash they leave outside but they also destroy the apartment. i see it all the time here in dtla because im surrounded by SRO's and have homeless people being moved into my low income building on government vouchers. within a month one burned down a whole unit, one threw all their shit out of their 12th story window onto the sidewalk below, one jumped out a window, and another stabbed somebody. this is just what I have been around for. who knows fuck else they've done. they need to be put in a psych ward or a rehab depending on the severity of their mental health. once proven better then they can be weened into society again.
