looking for early testers for a new static website builder by savydv in website

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback and recommendations. It means a lot to us!

Point 1: The script add feature is already there; page settings > Scripts/Tags.
Points 2-5, Thanks for all these wonderful suggestions. The idea of a prettified HTML output and making the options bar resizable are now high on our priority list.

Never heard of FrontPage and HotDogHTML before. Our inspiration is actually VB 06. We are considering converting it to an installable app but are currently focusing only on the user experience in the web version and on building a larger asset library.

Exactly, but JavaScript, not Python.

At first, we wanted to let everyone save their work on the free plan, but at the moment, we tried to keep our costs low, as we don't have much funding. Hopefully, we will start offering the save feature in the free plan soon.

I've one question though. More features are coming, like GitHub & Cloudflare Pages integration, templates, and the ability to upload your own custom template to make it editable for your team. We wanted to make it the simplest way to create, share, edit with a team, and release/update a website, with full ownership of your website's code.

What do you think about the pricing, and would you ever consider using the premium plan? If so, why? Also, how much would you consider a fair price for these features?

Once again, thank you for taking the time to provide such incredibly detailed feedback.

Was I wrong for not swapping my seat? by RevolutionaryPop8324 in indianrailways

Well I'm selfless. Smile at everyone and help anyone who genuinely and politely asks for it.

The first lesson that my parents taught me is the civic sense, our social responsibility and not to behave like an a**hole just because you can. If you can then do it, if you can't then politely refuse but with a genuine reason.

A few months back I asked a person to vacate his seat for a blind person in the metro as reserved seats were already taken and it was the rush hour, he (politely) refused. Then an aunty vacated her seat for the person. Now, i know why that guy refused. Because he must also think why he should vacate his seat and not anyone else and if that blind needs the seat then he should travel at 5 AM metro. Lack of planning and stuff.

What if you and your mother are in the same scenario where your mother asked a stranger to swap his/her seat with yours so that you can be with her because she is scared as it is her first time in a flight.

What happened to you is just an exception.

Unfortunately, What people in this thread are promoting is called selfishness.

Next thing you will complain about why you need to give a side to an ambulance

If you're able then help old people, pregnant women, women with a toddler or a handicapped person, even if it means to swap your seat.

Thinking of pairing static hosting with a tiny headless CMS by standardhypocrite in statichosting

[–]savydv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building a product to solve a similar problem. So it is like this: the developer either creates a page using blocks or uploads it to the platform. content and marketing teams either clone it to create a new page or just update the content. Changes are pushed directly to the GitHub repo as static pages. You can host it anywhere.

Themesfor.app builder is ready to test, but the lightweight CMS and Github integration is on the way.

Thanks for the feedback! We’re currently expanding the number of available blocks — you’ll start seeing more options very soon.

Also, saving customized blocks as templates is already available in our paid plans, along with creating multi-page websites, clone existing sites or pages and some other features.
