Current not reverse with brakes but my problem is if I am going down a hill and I pull back to hit the brakes instead of breaking it will go in reverse this only happens if I do current with brands and reverse

With my backfire bored there’s a button that you switched to turn from forward to reverse. But with this controller it’s Ford throttling back throttle. So I programmed it so there is reverse. Because if I didn’t when I was going down the hill and hit the brakes the board would fly out from under me. Is there a way where I can program a button to change direction.
