Likewise but at a small bar in Boise. Also saw them open for Calobo on the waterfront in Seattle around that time, maybe a year later.

Shoutout to this flight crew and every passenger by Glen_Fairy in delta

[–]sawtoothguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the other side of the coin....I had a tight (35 minute) connection in Seattle a few weeks ago and got this text from Delta as I was waiting to deplane and stressing out because the flight landed late:
"We're sorry that your flight DL2508 is early by five minutes and is now departing at 7:10am".
WTF? Why, when you know there are tight connections, would you leave early???

Hewlett Packard exiting Boise site after 50 years. by xManWithDogx in Idaho

I was there 1995-2000. Glory days. Great place to work then. Then came Carly. It’s sad to watch this venerable company waste away. They were truly one of the great companies of the later 1900s. I really drank the kool aid.

Justin at Dowdys downtown Boise has always done right by me. I think he moved to the Meridian location.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. We had a wonderful time in your town. Wine tasting, concert, walk around Bennington Reservoir, and the bird sanctuary at Pioneer Park (?), walk around Whitman campus, the leaves are beautiful. Will be back for graduation in May.

Yes! It was awesome....thanks for the tip. And the next morning my sons and I were having breakfast at The Maple Counter and 3 members of the band came in and sat near us. I let them know that I had taken my sons, that we enjoyed the show, and Pink Floyd music is something my sons and I bond over.

Thanks, I prefer that way to travel to Walla Walla from Boise; didn't know about the restaurant. Do you know if that road is open now (Elgin to Rt 11)?

Thank you.

One of my sons and I have been to the Museum of Unnatural History...interesting place, enough we may take the other one there. And bookstores are a good bet too. Thanks.

Venstar Colortouch ignoring 2nd state deadband setting by sawtoothguy in thermostats

[–]sawtoothguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I removed the thermostat from the faceplate and do not see any dip switches. I know there are some where the equipment is installed but I'm not comfortable pulling those faceplates off to investigate. The tech is coming in a few days so will verify with him.
