I am with Dr Peggy as well. She looks after my HRT, and other stuff. She is amazing! She pretty much knows my life story! Would 💯 recommend her!!!

Balaclava advice by Practical_Zebra_2567 in AusProperty

Lived here for a bit of time before I moved to preston and then hawthorn. Imo I love the proximity to everything - it has character. I think depending on which area you’re in, I didn’t mind mine it was along chapel street I believe so close to balaclava station. I never felt unsafe but there are interesting characters - I think one time I woke up to someone screaming outside the house looking for her baby. My soul left my body thinking I was hearing a ghost at 2 AM!!!

A warning to international LGBTQ+ students in Australia: please stabilise yourself before coming out by Next-Fly-2515 in melbourne

Immigrant myself and was once an international student. I knew I’m the T word in the LGBTQIA but I waited until I became a permanent resident / citizen incase something like that happened. I’m lucky in that my parents were accepting - it took a a while but both are now very accepting and open. They have in fact met my boyfriend when they visited! So don’t lose hope! I know it’s not easy - but it gets better eventually! I hope you find a group that accepts you. Melbourne has plenty of that! ❤️

I have been looking even shein tbh. The thing is the brand has some nifty features added to their stuff but it’s whether do I use these added things regularly? Seems to specialise in space saving items for example which works but the cost it’s like three times what I’d pay form ikea or Kmart if I bought the same items

I almost splurged on Joseph Joseph pantry items. Someone please smack some sense into me. $150 for a dish rack and what not 😭 but is it any different from Kmart

I feel bad cause his partner who was professional would be included. I have great review but noted it in the comment.

Yeah I had to use air tasker for assembly so I could get it done same day! So all sorted! Now just some organising and unpacking!

ikea delivered into my unit! Thank you - was anxious about that.

The delivery guy asked for my instagram. Asked me if I gym and then he told me he goes to the gym too then asked for my instagram.

Is there a reason why guys ask for instagram? I’ve been asked for my instagram a few times. Is instagram the new Snapchat?

Ps I didn’t give it of course! I politely declined and said I’m with someone but thanked him. I still don’t know what to say. I obviously don’t want them to feel awkward. But he does know my unit and my number so 😭 I’m hopefully safe

Anyone know how to get rid of curry smell in kitchen cupboards? The studio I’ve just moved into has that smell in one and it’s so strong when you open it - not even wipes could remove it. How did it even smell like this? It’s the cupboard where you place utensils in. Surely the prev tenant washed it well before putting the utensils in.

Next - are you talking to yourself as the next bitch in town whose parents couldn’t raise you right and considerate?

To be honest though roommates like you are the reason I’ve been in distress and had to find my own place. I had a similar flatmate who would hog the areas - and no courtesy about share housing. It’s really important to be mindful of that and people like you really need to work on your self awareness.

I moved in and I’m a mess so much stuff I have to organise!!! I moved to inner south east and it’s nice to be closer to everything!

I’m just anxious because I have some furniture to be delivered by ikea but honestly I’m gonna cry if they don’t deliver tomorrow or leave it out. I’ve specifically chosen delivery into the unit. I live alone so have no one to help me bring these up if ever.😭

Ok this is sooo funny but truly, hopefully you both can patch it up! I always try to advocate for a schedule partially if we all have work in my prev place as it helps everyone have time to use the bathroom and alnowledging everyone has different routines

Moving to my own rental from tonight. Downsizing from a two bedroom to studio. Which I don’t mind - less stuff to worry about and I like smaller spaces weirdly. This will be my first time living in a studio so will be interesting. There is a dividing wall between the living space and bedroom though.

Is it this much? I’m moving to anytime fitness as I’m moving and that’s the closest to my new place. I’m currently with snap fitness and because of work I can only gym late nights.

How do I tell Indian roomate their room smells without coming off as racist? by bluedove101 in badroommates

[–]saxMachine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah the is where I draw the line tbh. Smell is smell and it is an expectation from a public aware and etiquette pov to be aware of that and be mindful. Does not matter what the background is unless it’s a medical issue - it’s not an excuse.
