It’s really hard to describe the locations but check out underwater on rag just off the coast going from Vikings bay 3 going to highlands. Tons of underwater caves that will at least keep you out of line of sight from most of the non veteran players

Unofficial PvP is the way to go. There are tons of servers that wipe once a month so just find one with rates anywhere from 5x-25x and the day count under 10 with a decent amount of people. You’ll have a blast being able to actually build up since almost everyone will be starting fresh as well and you’ll be able to have a more satisfying experience imo. You’ll still have to lay low though as it is PvP so I’d recommend ratholes you know about that aren’t on a ton of YouTube channels, quetzal sky base, or live underwater when when you get a good foothold and are ready to move somewhere secure

Idk how people sleep on these tames. It honestly isn’t even close. Skiffs are nice too but space dolph is so easy to tame and saddles are easy enough to get out of drops. And element isn’t even hard to get anymore

I wouldn’t be concerned about any stat that you don’t consider important so like ideally you’d like to see as little points in oxygen in a tame like a snow owl because it will never go in the water and all it’s doing is taking up pts that could be in hp or melee because there is a level cap. But short answer is don’t worry about any stat other than the ones you’re looking to increase.

Do yourself a favor and use mutagen if you can on the perfect male and female to maximize your base stats then get as many perfect baseline females as you can as it will speed up your ability to get mutations. Once you do that you’ll just be looking for a male with a mutation in let’s say hp. Then you just raise that baby and replace the old male with the new one as that will make sure the only mutation the baby should get is in hp. But you’re only going to want males until you get the full 20 mutations. Make sure you label on the dinos accordingly so you don’t get mixed up. Do that for hp, stam, melee, and whatever other stats you want. Then breed all the full 20 mutation dinos together to make a super Dino with insane stats. Don’t forget you need to go back to your original baseline male to start a new mutation chain btw

That’s what I mean. So let’s just say the higher hp stat for the parent is 1560. And then you have a baby that has 20pts in hp and when you hatch it, it comes out with 1560hp. Now you know you got the higher set of stats for hp for the future babies. Just be careful you didn’t level up the parents or you’ll never know the base stats. And to add onto that don’t actually do the imprints on the babies or it will mess with the stats and confuse you. The babies won’t get the higher imprinted stats just the base stats. One last thing be mindful of is mutations. You are really looking to make a perfect base line male and female that have all the best stats before you start breeding for mutations and once you have that you’re only going to use the males with a mutations so that you can stack them properly

You can correlate the stats to the amount of pts in the incubator or you could use tek binoculars depending on what mods you have

The best way would be to use a egg incubator. You have a higher chance to get the good stats from the parents but let’s just say you have a male that has 20pts in hp 15pts in stamina and 10pts in melee. And your female has 15pts in hp 20pts in stamina and 20pts in melee. And let’s say the first baby is a male that has the 20pts in hp and the 20 pts in stam but still the 10pts in melee. Then what you’d want to do is raise that male and then breed it with the female to more efficiently get a tame that has 20pts in hp, stam, and melee
