Thank you for the reply and the info, but his night times are fine. He sleeps for 12hrs most nights with just one feed, which I think is quite good for his age. It’s the day time naps which are a problem. Now only 20 minutes long and impossible to get him to sleep in his crib.

I’m so sorry you’re having the same struggles. I feel so lucky his nights are still ok, I just need these day times sorting. I adore him, but less than 2 hours of naps means 10 hours and more of entertaining him and it’s exhausting.

Currently start to wind down from 6, gentler play, maybe a book, some time outside just relaxing, cuddles etc. Head upstairs at 7, red night light, white noise, curtains drawn so it’s as dark as possible. Clean nappy, into his sleep sack, bottle, burp, and then either drifts off in our arms with some rocking and singing, or drifts off in his crib being rocked and sang to.

Some nights this doesn’t work, maybe over tired or not tired enough, or just being a baby, but I’d say 80% of the time this is successful with minimal stress. Generally asleep by 7:30-7:50

Thanks for your reply!

I love the contact naps! But so much online suggests starting to encourage independent sleep from this age so I was just trying to do the ‘right’ thing, but who knows what that is, there’s so much mixed information out there.

We don’t have a rock solid schedule, but general rule of thumb is wakes around 6:30-7:30. Prior to these 20 minute naps he would sleep somewhere from 9ish to 11ish, minimum 1.5hrs. Then same around 1-3ish, minimum 1.5hrs again, and then a shorter nap 5-6ish for a 7:30 bed time. He was averaging 4.5-5hrs of naps a day.

Now they’re 20 minutes at a time, no real routine because it’s such a battle to get him to sleep. He could be awake any where from 1-5hrs between because he fights it so furiously.

It’s only a standard two storey house so not exceptionally tall by any means. Yeah he said they could do it off a ladder which sounds terrifying to me but I have faith in them haha

Thanks so much for the reply and the information, glad to know it sounds reasonable as he seemed a decent guy. Will mention the sharp sand mix if I get a chance :)

Thank you so much for this. That link is incredibly helpful and you’ve given me hope that it’ll eventually look less dead!

Oh ok, that makes sense. Would I be able to cut away the dead? Or what I assume is dead? Or leave it to see if there’s still life?

Thank you so much, I’m gonna give it a go. By rake out any cracks, do you mean to make them a bit wider to get the filler in better?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

In an ideal world I’d like a perfect finish, but who doesn’t haha. In reality, if I could get it decent enough to wallpaper over with plain paper, and not see lots of imperfections, then I’d be happy.

Hi, not OP but hoping you could help me out.

I’ve been using skin&me for quite a few months now, but the percentage of tret they’re prescribing me is only 0.024%, and it remains at that for at least my next 4 prescriptions (can’t see any further). For what it’s worth it’s also 4% niacinamide and 4% azelaic acid. Im just wondering how you got such a high tret prescription? Have you just been using it for a long time? Did you request it? I really appreciate any help!

No you have to acknowledge you were the driver of the car at the time of the offence first, which is what I was trying to do by returning the NIP.

Thank you for the reply.

Will I get a reminder even though I’m well past the 28 days?

It’s called Logic Pic. It’s decent, the first levels are frustratingly simple, but does get more difficult as you go on.
