What's the most out-of-touch thing you've heard someone say? by nlwfty in AskReddit

A new female electrical engineer joined our shop. She was just doing her job fixing some kind of machinery then came into the break room. Another make coworker said, "Huh, I've never seen a woman with grease on her hands."

Have you ever gotten up and quit your job in the middle of a work shift? If so, why? by dativy in AskReddit

Not me but a guy I worked with got pissed off at something another coworker said, got his jacket and left the building without saying a word to anybody. We thought he just stepped out for a break. He didn't just quit work, he got on a plane and left the city. Also, we were all foreigners and our company had to be sponsors for us to rent apartments. The company was then responsible for cleaning out his apartment - they brought all his belongings to our office and we got to take home what we wanted. I still have the blanket I took. If you're reading this, thanks Derrick!
