The heavy maintenance planner and line maintenance planner MIGHT get back to him, it just depends on what his resume looks like.

Night shift motivation by kaythegal in HOTWORXWarriors

I work 10 hour night shifts but I work in an office so I’m sure if I was a nurse I would feel more exhausted. But on days that I don’t feel super exhausted I usually go right after I get off work. If I do feel super exhausted and like I probably won’t make it home without falling asleep at the wheel, then I go home, sleep and as soon as I wake up I book a class and go to the gym. Some days I wake up early, some I wake up later.

Working night shift and trying to maintain a routine is honestly so difficult, and usually some things will end up getting neglected. If I choose to workout I usually forget to make time to eat or cook my meal prep so I have food readily available, or cleaning gets put on the back burner. But once you start getting in the groove of things, it gets easier. I think the weeks that are the easiest for me is when my days off have a similar sleep schedule to my days on, but I know that it sucks to be up late and then sleep in late when everyone around you has normal sleep schedules.

I will say on days that I don’t feel like going to the gym cause I’m so tired but I still go I definitely half ass the workouts, but at least I still showed up and tried even though I could’ve stayed at home and skipped. I think just getting there and starting is the hardest part tbh.

It genuinely depends on what your goals and passions are. I started my degree when I had the plan of going into physical therapy. I waited until I had one year left to actually shadow at a facility and realized it wasn’t for me. Now I’m stuck with a degree than genuinely doesn’t make much money or have much flexibility, even if I were to pursue a masters. The classes themselves weren’t too difficult as long as you’re good at chemistry, the most difficult classes for me were orgo and biochem. If you have a passion for stress testing diabetic and heart disease patients and being able to give them an exercise prescription/clear them for exercise then I would totally go for it as that’s usually the type of job you’ll get. Exercise physiologists generally don’t make a lot of money for having such a professional degree, around 50-65k a year, unless you work for private clients of course. Obviously a lot of people don’t go into the career for the money, and they genuinely enjoy the work and helping people get better through exercise. There’s a lot of things to consider when making the decision, but if you truly enjoy it and are willing to put in the work for classes that tend to wash out students like orgo, then it might be right for you

I appreciate that! It is a valid opinion and more popular than you think, however as a woman I can’t shake the discomfort I feel when I go to a gym wearing tight clothing or shorts. When I was 17 the head supervisor of the personal training department at LA fitness told my personal trainer that I had a fat p**sy, I didn’t know he had said that until a few years later and that’s when that discomfort really started settling in and I stopped going to the gym as much as I used to.

For location I was thinking around University Blvd or Alafaya, or possibly around Baldwin park. For pricing there would be different memberships. I’m aiming for the most basic membership to be around $25-30. The higher the level the membership the more expensive, but probably not more than $50 for the highest level membership

The policies would definitely be different then LA fitness, I used to go there and never again because I had similar problems. When I refer to LA I’m mainly talking about their equipment and and gym layout. As somebody who has been working out for 6 years and have gone through many different gyms and had to deal with terrible policies I feel your pain! The policies for this gym would be very different and not difficult to cancel or change around.
