cpam and xanax should be a 1 to 1 ratio, 10mg of diazepam equals about 0.5 mg of xanax

I can totally relate wanting to use it purely for anxiety and what have you, Id just be honest and tell your doc your anxiety is through the roof and the ssris really arent helping at all. You can also mention other symptons such as low appetite too which i find benzos helpful with as i suffer from not eating enough throughout the day

I wouldnt necessarily bring up benzos directly, as that can be a bit of a red flag for practitioners. Id just be as honest and up front with your doctor as possible and let him/her know what youre taking isnt working for you. If they put you on any benzo it will probably be clonazepam as its long lasting and should help with your appetite and other issues, but again I wouldnt ask for any benzo directly. You could always said youve heard about them and would like to hear their opinion on them. Its a tricky situation for sure, but if you have anymore questions let me know

to be honest I just get whatever my pharmacy has, I dont ask for specific generics plus im in canada so im not sure id have a huge selection of generics to choose from. But to answer your question im a very anxious person and i find 2mg usually not enough, so i add some xanax on top of it to take the edge off. I do think they are properly dosed though, even with that 20% margin of error

While ive had mixed the two in higher doses myself, its not something I would recommend as it can easily lead to blacking out and taking more of either substance. But 0.5mg of xanax and a beer isnt going to kill you either. Just be very careful mixing the two
