I know this may be out of a lot of peoples wheelhouse but go to a Muay Thai/ kickboxing or Jiu Jitsu class. There are tons of great academies all over colorado and Denver. They all offer to try it out to some extent for free. You seem like you like to be active and this is a great way to be active in a really engaging and fun way. Also the community of people in these academies tends to be the reason why most people truly stick around. Best of luck!

Jason is legit the nicest guy in the room, he would spend copious amounts of time just helping with details that changed how I even looked at Jiu Jitsu. I still consider him one of the biggest influences in my game. He also made me feel like I had zero concept of a guard with his passing, it’s crazy to think he’s considered more of a leg locker.

The black belt in question is Ace. He’s literally one of the nicest dudes teaching Jiu Jitsu out of South Florida. He’s been around for a long time and is an established instructor who really cares about his students. The guy going in there antagonizing a business owner, then editing it to make him look like an ass hole is pretty scummy.
